When Parker woke up, Daryl was gone. Sitting up from the mattress she looked around the room before spotting a handwritten note on the nightstand. She stood up with a heavy sigh, reaching for the note and as she unfolded the paper, she recognized Daryl's familiar messy handwriting. 'I went out to help. Maggie needed me. I'll be back before you wake up.'

"Oh, will you now..?" Parker murmured with a sarcastic eye roll, dropping the note on the nightstand as she stepped into her boots. With her boots untied on her feet, she walked towards the stairs and was surprised to see the lower floor bustling with activity. People were preparing themselves, grabbing weapons or handing them out, and made sure to wear armor before heading outside. "What's going on?" Parker asked, as she walked down the stairs. "Ezekiel?" At the sound of his name, the King turned around.

"We are under attack."

"The Saviors?" Parker asked, looking around. Her eyes trying to locate anyone from her main group. Or more importantly any signs of them being under attack. "Where's Maggie? Daryl?"

"I'm sure he's out there," Ezekiel replied, nodding towards the open door. "And Maggie went out to get the hostages. But in your condition, you're not in a position to be in the middle of the battle. You must stay out of it."

"Fine," Parker agreed, shaking her head as her gaze lingered on the front gates, spotting some moved cars that were now turned or rearranged nearby. "But at least give me a rifle. I'll stay inside, but you know me. I still want to help in any way possible."

"I'm afraid I can't allow you to be given a weapon," Ezekiel refused, placing a hand on her shoulder, making her eyebrows furrow as she looked up at him.

"Yeah, well.. I wasn't really asking either." A scoff was heard from nearby and both of them turned to face the source of the sound.

"Jesus Christ, Ezekiel, she's the best chance we've got. We need her." Carol walked past Ezekiel and shoved a rifle into Parkers hands. Not even a second later, she was handed a couple extra magazines of ammo before she could properly get a grip on the gun forced into her hands.

"Don't miss," Carol told her as she started walking away and Parker feigned offense to her words, staring at her retreating figure.

"Have some confidence," Before being able to respond, Carol was dragged away by Henry, who started trying to convince her to let him go out there and help fight. Heading up to the top floor, Parker approached the window that overlooked the open area in front of the Barrington House and forced it open. A pair of spiders crawled through the cracks and Parker cringed as she brushed them away with her hand, resting her rifle on the windowsill. Looking through the scope, she almost immediately managed to spot the Saviors rolling up towards the front gate and sighed. Downstairs, Maggie tried to negotiate with the Saviors, planning to trade the people that she was holding hostage for peace, but the Saviors clearly didn't take the bait. Beyond the wall, Parker heard the engine of a motorcycle, and the gates were pulled opened. Daryl drove in on his motorcycle, and as the Saviors' car prepared to follow him, the school bus cut in the way and blocked the entrance resulting in the car to ram into the side of the bus.

"Now!" Parker heard Maggie scream below her and opened fire on the Saviors' van, watching as the men scattered. She saw the arrows flying through the sky and heard the groans of the people below as some of them were wounded. Enraged that her people were being killed again, Parker swung her weapon toward the archers outside the wall, who were barely visible through the open gates, but the arrows they sent their way did more damage than the people who'd gotten inside. Pulling the trigger, Parker felt the familiar recoil of the rifle against her shoulder as it sent a hail of bullets at the visible archers. Some fell; others scattered but still more came. More Saviors came through the open gates and Parker tried to take down as many as possible.
