"Do I get to do the talking?" Parker asked as they walked up the path to Barrington House. All eyes landed on her with unimpressed looks aimed her way. "Oh, come on, like I'd do anything too bad."
"Do you really think that's a good idea?" Rick did his famous cop eyebrow and she huffed.
"Yeah. You guys don't get shit done when you play the 'be nice willy-nilly' card. And perfectly enough... I'm an asshole. And... I probably won't not say anything." She offered them all a slight shrug which earned a few chuckles as they reached the steps.
"The hell do we tell him?" Daryl cut into the conversation. "The whole deal was to take care of the Saviors."
"We'll tell him the truth," Maggie answered him, opening the front doors. "See what happens from there and then we build off that."
"Heads up, I'm not disarming myself this time," Parker announced to the group as she reached the door to Gregory's office first. Knocking on the door, she pressed her ear closer to listen for a response. "Georgia! You in there?" Rick turned away from her, shaking his head disappointed, and stepped back into their group of people.
"Come in," A not too amused Gregory responded through the door. Looking over her shoulder, she silently asked if everyone was good before pushing the door open. "Oh! Pedro, what a nice surprise." Parker sent him a tight-lipped smile as she held the door open for the rest of her people, Rick, Michonne, Sasha, and Carl walking in after her and instantly his fake smile dropped. Those three were followed by Daryl and Tara, Maggie and Jesus. And then there was Rosita looking pissed as ever bringing up the rear. Gregory put on another overly forced smile as he stood behind his desk. "What is it that you need from me this time?" His eyes floated over each member of the group, waiting for one of them to answer him.
Parker looked over at her brother to see if he wanted to answer the question but he seemed to be struggling to figure out what to say or was just taking too long to piece together how to say what he wanted. Maggie and Jesus both watched their group knowing it should be one of them to say something. Carl tapped his aunt's arm and looked between her and Gregory and she cursed under her breath.
"I'm just gonna say it because no one else will. We fucked up big time." Parker stated, keeping her arms crossed. Gregory cocked an eyebrow waiting for her to elaborate and she rolled her eyes in annoyance. "The Saviors? You remember those dicks, right? We didn't kill all of them like planned." She explained to him, talking unbearably slowly.
"What do you mean you didn't kill all of them, that was the deal we made. What happened?"
"We only took out one outpost. But, to be f-" She started to say before he cut her off.
"No!" He snapped, now starting to pace back and forth. She glanced over in Rick's direction to find his eyes on her already. She could see he was mad at the approach she took but in her eyes, he wasn't taking an approach at all. "No way in hell! That was not the deal." Gregory continued, stopping at the covered window.
"Gregory, if you'd just hear us out and l-" Parker tried to speak but he once again continued to speak over her. She clenched her fist, breathing out angrily through her nose.
"You people swore you could take the Saviors out. And you failed." He walked back to his desk and leaned closer to Parker who stood a few feet away on the other side of it. "So any arrangement we had is now done- null and void." Parker tilted her head slightly, narrowing her eyes as she stared at him.
"Gre-"
"We aren't trade partners, we aren't friends and we never met, hmm? We don't know each other." He finalized and she heaved a fake sigh of relief.
