(short fluff? Once again, inspired from the chats)
"Wrong, wrong, wrong!"
Yuri said as he looked through the test paper questions he had given you.You stood in front of him sheepishly. He had made it a thing to give you weekly tests ever since he took you in as an 'apprentice'.
But you weren't cut out for his tests, and quite frankly, you didn't see the need to be doing these either.
"It's quite baffling how you're even getting through a day without knowing these simple things,"
The doctor sighed,
"Honestly, as my apprentice i expected-"" 'Better quality work and more effort put into learning.' "
You finished his sentence."Precisely, but I'm not seeing any improvement."
"And I'm not seeing a point in making me take these tests."
You retorted, making the turquoise haired ghoul look at you, offended.
"And that is why you will forever be ignorant,"It was your turn to sigh,
"Oh come on! It's not like I'm actually going to be conducting researches, I'm just here to inspect,"
You pouted at the doctor, paired with your biggest puppy eyes as you inched closer. The ghoul avoided your gaze, face burning from the close contact.
"...Urghh,""Ahem,"
Someone cleared their throat and Yuri scooted far away from you on his swivel chair.
Jiro stared emotionlessly at the scene for a while before raising up a stack of papers,
"The new reports are in,""...Excellent! Let's, uh, let's get started with our research,"
The doctor quickly stood up and walked away."Does that mean there's no more tests from now on?"
You tried your luck."Absolutely not! In fact, you can expect an even harder test the next time, you can leave now,"
Yuri shooed you away in haste. With you gone, he finally let out a sigh, only to open his eyes to find Jiro staring.
"What?"
"You look feverish."
"I'm fine! Let's not waste time anymore!"
