Haru Sagara

First of all, how dare anyone bully or talk shiz about this man. This ball of sunshine is the most hardworking person you'll ever meet.

"He makes us do the cleaning even though we aren't even part of the ghouls."
The Jabberwock student complained,
"We did not sign up for this. We weren't even the one who wanted a Safari to begin with."

Haru understood how they felt. He too thought it wouldn't be fair to ask them to be on duty at times either if they weren't placed in charge. But the work sometimes might just be a bit too much for even this ghoul with super speed.

"Plus, he's super hyper about it. It's so overbearing when he asks us to handle it. I don't even have the choice to say no."
Another student added on.

At this point, Haru, who was behind a pillar tossing out the trash, was beginning to feel just a tinge of remorse and gloom. Because what they were saying was all valid.

"But it's not like it's  a super common thing for him to ask you all for help, only when he can't manage it on his own. There are only three ghouls in your house and one of them barely helps either. You guys are a house, it doesn't hurt to help your captain out at times."

Oh! Honour student, you're there too, and defending him at that.

"Besides, Haru's pretty reasonable. If you really can't help out that day, just give him an explanation and I'm sure he'll be off to find another person for help."

The two Jabberwocks nodded collectively in agreement, muttering, "Ahh, that's true, that's true."

- Oh honour student, what could he do without you? Ever since your arrival, he has had lots of help from you.

- Would you like a free Safari coupon for the next big opening? He knows it may not mean much to you though.

- Or perhaps he should start working with Mortkranken to find a way to release you from the curse. Who knows? Maybe anomalous animals have some form of cure to that.

- He can't control the visible happiness that overflows from his face whenever you come visit him and help in the Safari.
"I'm glad to see you here today as well, Honour student!"

Towa Otonashi

Not much rumours went around about this free spirited ghoul. But, it was only because the people who talked behind his back were all either mysteriously struck by lighting, chased by bees or met bad weather to the point of falling ill.

Towa remains as carefree as ever despite all the evidence pointing to him being the mastermind.

"That vice-captain of Jabberwock, is kind of odd don't you think?..."

What's this? Another group of unfortunate people about to be at the receiving end of his wrath?

Towa floated around the province to listen in. Obscuary students... Towa hissed internally, they were never good news.

"He acts all airheaded but isn't he a suspect from the Cra-"

Their lines ended when you collided with them, spewing a huge pile of wool all around.

"Ack! I'm so sorry!"
You were only delivering the anomalous cotton sheep's wool to Rui, who said he needed them for Ed's new pillow stuffing or something.

"Ugh! I take it back, she's a bigger airhead."
One of them muttered, trying to brush off the extremely soft cotton that clung onto their shirts like spider silk.

"Anomalous sheep wool can be a bit hard to remove like that, you can only wash it off with water,"
You adviced, smiling sheepishly. (No pun intended)

The student rolled her eyes before signalling to her clique to go off.

Right after they were out of view, you dropped the blockheaded facade. Anomalous wool binds to any clothing containing wool when left on for more than 5 minutes. And since the closest route to a hose was 10 minutes away, she was going to have to throw that uniform away.

You brushed the excess wool off your hands, before resuming your walk to Rui's place in triumph.

- Aren't you calculative, little dandelion? Towa certainly grew even more fond of you.

- He'll find you after you exit Rui's place and spontaneously fly you through the skies in all smiles. You'd think he was just being his normal self.

- You'll find flowers at all your common spots every day from here on out. He needs a way to convey his feelings after all.

- He will make life harder for anyone who makes yours hard. Including the other ghouls if he ever finds out how rudely they speak to you.

Ren Shiranami

He already kept his profile to the utmost minimum, so how was it that people could find something to say about him?

Oh, it's because he works in that horrid diner, isn't it?

Apparently some people were saying his attitude is bad. Okay? Like would they forever be smiling if they were in his shoes?

He didn't want to confront them though. Making things worse was the last thing he needed, so he listened in behind his headphones. Faintly, he could make out a familiar voice.

"But let's be real, working in that place can get really tiring, besides, you'd spent half the time trying to decipher what the boss is telling you."
You pointed out. Not that you could disagree with them that Ren had a strong attitude as a server, but you understood why.

He never expected you to ever speak out for him. Was he touched? Pfft, as if...!

Maybe just a bit.

- Has the same attitude, but would remember this moment as a core memory.

- ... Alright, he caves. Helps you out more when you come help out with Safari duties. You just looked like you needed a hand, okay?

- What's gotten into him?! First, he offered to be on duties when you came around, now he's listening to you rant to him about all your other responsibilities.

- And no way, did you two just... become friends on Archquest? He didn't even know you played this game until 10 minutes ago. Anyways, now you're allowed to join his guild and enter his dorm.
