"...We are truly sorry you had to face such a terrifying ordeal. It was all due to our inadequate security.
The Chancellor spoke, referring to the event 2 days prior.
It was an odd feeling to be seated in the grand meeting room, a place you've never even heard of until this day.
All the Professors sat along the sides of the ridiculously long table, an unreadable expression on their faces.

"The incompetent management team has been dealt with accordingly, and to compensate for that, we have decided that all of you are entitled to one request."
The Chancellor continued, walking back and forth his space despite having the largest chair in the whole table. He clapped twice, and two cats trotted down the table to pass the four of you slips of paper.

"Of course, nothing too out of hand."
Dante sent a glance to Leo, whose cheeky grin dropped in an instant. The hand holding a pen scribbled on the paper, presumably cancelling his 'out of hand' request.

"And we'll do our best to fulfil that request. You have the month to think about it."
The Chancellor finished his speech, ending the meeting.

It took a while before you snapped back into reality, the paper in hand as you walked out the meeting room mindlessly. The day after Alan explained everything to you, your heart had been weighing heavy with guilt.

He spilt everything to you so easily, and that was how much he trusted you...

Yet, you were here, in cahoots with some mad man who was bloodthirsty for secrets. You glared at Leo. You had to put an end to this.

Alan watched your eyes and traced it to the silver haired first year. Recently, he noticed the two of you had gotten quite close. Although he was curious, he never had the courage to ask you that night.

Instead, he simply told you a gruesome secret of his, hoping that this way, you could stop being so nice to him.
Then, he wouldn't feel so terrible all the time. He doesn't deserve this kindness...
His eyes shifted back to the meeting room, and for a brief moment, he could've sworn the bespectacled professor had been looking at him before the doors slammed shut.

"You good?"
Sho raised a brow at you.

You gave him a forced smile and nodded.

"Really? 'cause that piece of sausage on your plate is almost mashed up at this point."

The first year had been looking at you poke the meat for the past 5 minutes.

A lump had been stuck in your throat the whole time. Even though you and Sho had become quite close, he was still Leo's friend. Did he know anything about Leo blackmailing you?

"I'm just conflicted on what to put down on the wishlist Darkwick gave us."
You replied.
What you wanted was not something Darkwick could just give you.

"Ah... so it's about that..."
Sho sighed. This was how Darkwick compensated people for all the weird problems they caused. It was their way of keeping students quiet. And if something slips, the school has their own way of making sure it never happens again.
"Honestly, anything works. You don't have to think too hard about it. I'm going to request for 3 years of access to their food supply and order."

If you can't hurt them any other way, hurt their wallets.
That's what Sho thought.

"Until you graduate?"

Sho shrugged,
"Why not?"

This made you laugh, finally eating the sad pieces of sausages on your plate.

Perhaps you shouldn't judge him solely based on his connection with Leo.

Sho mirrored the smile on your face. Took you long enough to return to the relaxed expression he was familiar with.
But seeing a certain someone make his way near his truck made his face drop.
