Iconic One Bed Situation [All Houses]

(Heyyy yalllz, it's been a whileee. < As if I haven't been gone for months- But you know, life and stuff + rewriting one of my older fics. Amidst that, I caught up with the later chapters for TKDB and felt the need to puke out all the collective ideas in my head.

Context: You never thought a situation like such would befall you, yet here you were. A lousy inn. One room, one bed, and a million thoughts flooding your mind. You could only look to your side where he stood...)

Jin Kamurai

-He's taking the bed. You? You can have the raggedy sofa on the side, servant.

-Immediately lays down, lights a cigar and shuts his eyes while he pollutes the air and your lungs with second-hand smoke.

-At this point, were you even surprised at how 'gentlemanly' Jin is?

-You oblige, taking the less comfortable crib. Once, and only once, he was sure you were in deep slumber, did the smoking stop.

-Morning came, and you expected a terrible ache on your lower back from the compromised position you've slept in. However, instead of pain, you were taken aback by the soft cushion supporting your body.

-'Miraculously', you had woken up in bed and Jin was nowhere to be found in the room. Don't bother asking him how you got there, he'll only ignore you.

-Offers to take the sofa, of course. He couldn't let a lady take the couch, and it's not because he thinks you're so frail or whatever, no. If you prefer the couch, by all means.

-But you happily thanked him and plopped onto the mattress without an argument, falling asleep in a heartbeat.

-My, don't you feel so safe around him to be knocked out like that within seconds?

-Sleeps on the couch in an upright position because, really, he's guarding the doors in case of intruders and it's just easier this way. It's also part of his habit.

Kaito Fuji

-Stuttering and stammering while he tells you to take the bed.

-I mean, don't get him wrong, he'd never do anything to make you uncomfortable, but...a gentleman isn't immune to thoughts.

-Yeah, the couch is hard as rock but it doesn't really matter since you look so comfy inside your little blanket burrito.

-The both of you end up chatting late into the night, which was enough for him to sleep without a care for the awkward position he was in.

Lucas Errant

-The lady takes the bed. Always.

-Luca doesn't mind taking the couch, heck even if it was just a bed and floorboard, he'll take the floors.

-It's just an unwritten rule to him. For some reason, you argued about how he can have the bed instead and he appreciates the thought, but rejects the offer. Stubbornly sits on the sofa to prevent you from snatching it.

-Please just take the bed.

-A surge of triumph fills his heart when you resign and eventually accept the bed. You're too courteous and he admires that.
