A few hours later the Lane's were at the Danvers's house sitting around the living room talking. "It's so nice to meet my cousins soulmate! After Alex found Kelly...I was worried Kara would never find hers." Clark stated. "It's nice to meet you too! And Kara's absolutely amazing!" Lena gushed. "Are you enjoying yourself Sam?" Alex asked. "Yes! I'm having a great time!" Sam replied. "That's good, I knew you were nervous about meeting everyone." Alex replied.
In the kitchen Ella and Eliza were discussing their daughters new soulmates. "What do you think of Lena?" Ella asked. "I think shes a lovely girl! She completes Kara, they're two halves of a whole." Eliza replied. "Ah yes. That's how Sam is to Lucy. I used to think that Lucy and Kara would be soulmates. But after watching them go through most of their lives with no color I knew that there was someone else out there for both of them." Ella replied. "Yes...I too used to think that too." Eliza added.
Later that evening everyone sat at the large table and began dinning on the wonderful food made by both mothers. Lena took the opportunity of being so close to Kara and put her hand on the blonde's thigh slowly moving it upward this only caused the blonde to choke on her drink. "Kara! Are you ok?" Sam asked. "Yep! I'm ok...just went down the wrong tube." Kara replied. Lena swallowed her laughter as she put another fork full of mashed potatoes in her mouth.
"This is absolutely delicious Eliza!" Lois said as she ate her food. "Thank you Lois, but your mom helped too, she deserves some credit." Eliza said. "It's really good Mrs. Lane." Lena piped up. "Oh dear...call me Ella. You're apart of the family now." Ella said. "Lena...Sam tells us that you're working on some new technology at L Corp. How is that coming?" Clark asked. "Are you asking as a reporter?" Lena asked. "As a friend, and as Alex and Kara's cousin." Clark replied. "Well then...it's coming along slowly, I'm having some trouble with the experimental department...I can't get it quite right." Lena replied.
"And Kara how are you doing as Editor In Chief?" Lois asked. "I'm doing quite well. When I got promoted Lena took me out to buy all kinds of business wear. Even with all my protests against it." Kara chided. "Hey...you need those clothing. And you look amazing in them." Lena replied.
After dinner the adult children all gathered together and cleaned the kitchen together and do the dishes.
