A little while later everyone arrives in Midvale. Sam and Lucy headed for Lucy's parents while everyone else headed to Eliza's. Eliza had her arms open and ready to hug everyone as they came into the house. "Welcome! Welcome! I see Sam's over at the Lane's. That'll be good. Alex, Kara, take the bags upstairs." Eliza says. "Yes mom!" They both reply as they grab the bags and tote them upstairs. Back downstairs Lena and Kelly joined Eliza in the kitchen after removing their coats and boots by the door. "So girls! Are you excited for the holidays?" Eliza asked. "Oh yes. L Corps been closed for the holidays and everyone got a nice bonus to go with it." Lena explained. "Oh that's kind of you. I'm sure the employees will love that." Eliza replied.
"I suppose so. I know my assistant did...even though she said she didn't do anything to deserve it." Lena replied. "Jess definitely deserves it, I've seen how hard she works." Kara said as she and Alex returned downstairs. Alex takes a seat next to Kelly while Kara sits next to Lena. "Did Cat give you a bonus?" Eliza asks her youngest daughter. "Oh well besides being the new Editor In Chief, and the new office, she has. She gave me a very hefty bonus." Kara replies. "Oh well that was nice of her. What about you Kelly? Alex?" Eliza asked. "FBI gave me a new uniform, gun along with my annual bonus." Alex replied. "And my boss gave me a nice bonus too." Kelly replied.
Lena's hand searched out Kara's who quickly took it and stroked the back of it with her thumb. "How was the trip up here?" Eliza asked. "It was nice. I had no idea how snowy it would be, however Kara made sure I packed enough warm clothes so I would be prepared." Lena replied. "It's cause I know you...and I know you get cold easily." Kara replied. "So mom? When are we gonna go get the tree?" Alex asked. "I was thinking we'd go out after dinner." Eliza replied.
Meanwhile inside the Lane house Sam was getting hugged by everyone. "It's so nice to meet you Sam! Lucy has told us all about you!" Ella Lane said. "It's nice to meet you as well Mrs. Lane!" Sam replied with a smile. "Oh please call me Ella." She replied. Sam nodded her eyes looking for Lucy who was over by Clark and Louis. "It's nice to meet my sister's soulmate!" Louis says after a while. "It's nice to meet you too." Sam replied. A little while Sam and Lucy are sitting in the living room talking about anything and everything. Sam slowly warms up to Lucy's family.
