Kara wanted to pull her hair out by the time Lena arrived at her office for lunch. "Rough day?" Lena asked as she entered Kara's office with sandwiches in hand. "You could say that..." Kara said. "Come here and sit...I'll rub your shoulders before we eat." Lena replied. "You don't have to darling..I'll be ok." Kara replied. "Nonsense. Sit! Now!" Lena demanded. "Yes darling!" Kara replied sheepishly as she sat down on the sofa. Lena began rubbing the blondes shoulders trying to ease the tension in them. "You're right...I did need this." Kara hummed. "I know...that's why I'm here...so want to tell me what's got you so stressed?" Lena asked as Kara turned to face her. "Work...I had two meetings back to back. They were both full of petty arguments...I had to threaten jobs twice just to get them to stop!" Kara groaned. "I'm sorry darling..I'm here now.." Lena cooed as she pulled Kara into a tight hug.
After the long embrace the woman began eating their sandwiches and talking about different things. "So how's everything else going?" Kara asked as she sipped her drink. "L Corps going well. Everyone's busy doing their things..so I don't have much to do, well except paperwork. Sam took the majority of the meetings off my hands so that was nice." Lena replied. "That's nice of her. How are Sam and Lucy doing?" Kara asked. "Good...really good. I'm surprised Lucy hasn't told you yet...but she and Sam have decided to move in together." Lena exclaimed.
"Really! That's wonderful news! I'm so happy for them! I knew they'd make a great couple!" Kara replied. "Yea..I don't know when they're moving in together yet..just that they are, so I assume we'll be getting an invitation to a house warming gift sometime soon." Lena replied. "Well I look forward to it." Kara replied with a smile.
