It's winter time...

A time where loved ones get together to stay warm and spend time together. This winter, I'm alone. And maybe it's for the better? I don't know. Well, I'm not fully alone. I have Yoongi, Namjoon, Jimin, and Jin to talk to. They've been talking to me, trying to get to know me, and just restart.
I step outside and watch as my breath condensates in front of me. Freshly fallen snow lays on the ground and crunches under my boots. I made my way to the cafe where I usually meet Jin every Saturday since that one fateful day. I pass the park where I met Jimin and continued down the snowy sidewalk.
I enter the cafe and smile at the elderly woman as she greets me with her warm smile. I order my usual before sitting down at our usual spot near the window. I look over the newspaper as I wait for my coffee to be ready, knowing that Jin would arrive 10-15 minutes after me.
My coffee arrives and Mrs. Han sits in front of me. I put my newspaper down as we begin talking about the weather, about our jobs, basically anything that we could possibly talk about in the little time we had.
I hear the small bell ringing and look up to see Jin walk in, but he's not alone, Taehyung and Hoseok were with him. My eyes slightly widen, but I try to act like nothing was wrong. I take a slightly deep breath as I look back at Jin, who smiles as he sees me. Taehyung and Hoseok turn and see me and I can tell they are unsure about approaching me.
Mrs. Han leaves the table as Jin approaches the table and sits down.
"Sorry, they persisted on coming." Jin says with an uncomfortable smile, probably not knowing how I would react to the two others coming at once.
"Ah, it's fine. Besides, I was taking you away from your soulmates." I say with a small smile.
Jin looked as if he wanted to argue but kept his mouth shut. Hoseok's face frowned deeper and his eyes almost looked misty. Taehyung turned slightly away with a slight pout.
"You're our soulmate too..." Taehyung mumbled.
I don't think he meant for me to hear but I did and it honestly made me feel lighter, almost happier. I swallowed the lump in my throat before smiling at Taehyung and Hoseok.
"Why don't you guys sit down? There is plenty of room for you three." I say with a smile.
Jin sits in his usual spot across from me. Taehyung, not so subtle, sits excitedly next to me as Hoseok sits next to Jin, across Taehyung. I felt a little awkward, but I knew it was because of how things were left when we stopped talking to each other. The three order their drinks and start talking to each other, trying to include me by asking me what I've been up to, how I was doing, the usual things you would ask if you hadn't heard or seen someone for a long time.
"Do you game anymore?" Taehyung suddenly asks.
I freeze. I haven't been gaming since I last left their house. I take a deep breath and look down at my coffee mug.
"I'm honestly slightly scared to get back into gaming. I feel like if I do, I'll see all the heartbroken messages from Jungkook and I know I deserve to go through that hurt, but I'm scared of how bad it will hurt..." I say honestly.
"Is that what you've been telling yourself this entire time?" Hoseok says, slightly shocked. "That you deserve all the pain you've been through?"
I nod, "yeah. But I feel like it's helped me become a better person in the long run."
"No one DESERVES to go through pain, y/n. May it be mentally, emotionally, or physically. Everyone deserves happiness in their lives." Jin says as he looks at me.
"But I've hurt you guys in the most despicable way." I softly argued back.
"You had your reasons back then and I'm sure you're still going through it as well. That sort of stuff isn't going to go away magically." Taehyung says as he looks in my eyes. "I can tell he's still bothering you. Even if you don't try to show it."
My eyes slightly widened at his words because they were true. My dad was still trying to get me to get married but I've been trying to get a no contact order on him as well. It's not easy because he has to look at the email sent to him but he has ignored the no contact order email meaning that it hasn't started yet because he "technically doesn't know about it". I honestly think it's stupid but I can't do anything about it.
"You're not wrong. But I'm trying to get everything under control." I say with a smile.
The boys smile at me but their have hints of worry in them. We continue sipping on our drinks and talking about anything that comes to mind. Seeing the time on a clock across the room, I finish my coffee and stand up.
"It was really nice talking to you guys, but I should probably start walking home. I still have some stuff to do before I can begin my weekend." I say before chuckling.
"It was nice seeing you again, Y/n." Jin says as he stands up to walk me outside.
Hoseok and Taehyung also stand up and follow us outside before I say my goodbyes once again.
"I can't wait to see you again." Taehyung says as he suddenly wraps his arms around me in a hug.
I'm surprised by the hug but eventually wrap my arms around his torso as I fight back happy tears. I was happy Taehyung hadn't changed over the course of my absence. I stay there for a few seconds before pulling away and smiling up at him and the other two.
"I shall talk to you guys later." I say before walking home.

Maybe I did deserve a little happiness....
