Bedtime

Arizona's POV,

I was really proud of Meredith she seemed to eat the about half of her soup,
"You full?" I asked smiling,
"Yep," she said with a big grin,
"Do you want anything else?" Addie asked, but Meredith just shakes her head
"Ok no worries. Should we go back to the couch?" I asked, but smile as I see Meredith yawn, "or maybe to bed?" I suggest smiling,
"I think that's a good idea," Addison says smiling as well, watching at Meredith rub her eyes,
"I'm not tire..," Meredith tried to protest but was cut off my another yawn,
"Really?" I asked smiling, "because I think we have a very tired bug on our hands" I said picking up on the slight regression in Meredith's voice and smiling to Addison to let her know Meredith was slipping
"Not a bug, but maybe I am tiward" Meredith said, letting herself slip more,
"I thought so, should we go to bed?" Addison says smiling,
"But I dont wanna go to bed, I not sweepy" Meredith said half yawning,
"Oh but I am, aren't you Addie?" I asked pretending to yawn,
"Oh exhausted," she said holding back a smile,
"Maybe you and I should just go to bed and leave Meredith out here all alone," I say fighting back a smile as well
"No." Meredith yells, "I um... I'll go to bed," Meredith says, looking up at me "don't weeve me here awone."
"We won't don't worry bug," I said, picking her up and resting her on my hip, "how about we go get ready for bed while Addie packs up dinner then she'll come and join us?"
"Ok," Meredith says resting her head on my shoulder, and bringing her hand up to her mouth
"I'll see you two in there in a bit," Addison says with a smile,
"Meredith how would you feel about some warm milk?" I ask, gently brushing her hair out of her face, I feel her nod against my shoulder,
"Addie, my love would you mind maybe heating up some warm milk for Mer? There is a sippy cup right at the back of the top cupboard on the left," I explain praying Addison doesn't ask why there is a sippy cup in our cupboard,
"Of course," Addison says smiling,
As I walk into Addison's room grabbing some pjs for Meredith before walking into my room,
"Do you want help getting changed?" I ask putting Meredith down on the bed, she whimpers slightly as I put her down,
"It's ok baby, I'm not going anywhere, you just need to put some comfy pjs on so we can all go to bed, do you want me to help you get changed," I asked, bending down so I'm at eye level with her
"Wes pweese wona," she says her eyes heavy as she tries to fight off sleep,
It doesn't take me long to quickly get her changed using it an a chance to check her cuts on her arms they seem to be healing well, as do the ones on her legs,
"All done," I say smiling, just as I say that Addison entered the room in her pjs holding a sippy cup of milk,
"Perfect timing, my love, I've just got to get changed. Meredith do you want to sit with Addison while I get changed?" I ask, Meredith is the priority right now especially when she's regressed if she feels we are pressuring her or making decisions for her she will stop regressing
"Weah, I have milk?" Meredith asked looking at the sippy cup in Addisons hand
"Of course, come here bug," Addie said sitting down at the head of my bed, I smiled as I saw Meredith crawl up to her cuddling into her,
Once I got changed I joined them, laying down next to Addie, letting my hand rest on Meredith's back, as I did so she rolled tucking her head into my chest, dropping the sippy cup in the progress,
"Finished your milk bug?" I ask as Addie grabs the cup, Meredith doesn't respond she just nods against my chest,
"Ok, go to sleep," I say, running my finger through her hair as Addie gets up to pull back the covers letting my slip underneath with Meredith in my arms,
It didn't take long for Meredith to fall asleep her light snores filling the room.
"Your good at that," Addison says, catching me off guard,
"Oh, I um.. so are you, when we first found her I didn't know what to do, but you did." I say trying to deflect
"Yeah but you just get this regression stuff, you know how to tell if she's regressed and how to help her get there it's amazing," Addison says grabbing my hand in hers,
"Thanks," I say,
"Seeing as your the expert," she said smirking
"I'm not an expert," I say quickly,
"I'm joking Ari, don't worry we are both figuring this out as we go," she says squeezing my hand, I feel relief wash over me,
"I'm not sure what we do now?" She says, it's less of a question directed towards me and more just a question in general,
"Um.. her weight is probably the next focus we need to look at, as Dr Wyatt said if we don't do something about it soon she's going to have to be hospitalised, I'm not quite sure how we go about doing that, although we do need to get her weight which could be triggering, how are we going to do it?" I say, I realising I'm rambling but it's Addie she knows what I'm like
"Your right, her weight is a concern, maybe we could weigh her while she's asleep, I want her to trust us but I don't want to trigger her," Addison suggested, "but if we are going to do that I think we should ask her when she's big again," she continues and I agree, we shouldn't do anything without asking Meredith first, as I look down at Meredith I notice she's sucking her thumb again,
"I think we should maybe get her some pacifiers, and maybe some other sippy cups and kiddy plates and stuff, that way we are prepared for it," I say, "sucking her thumb isn't good for her teeth, and I'd rather not make her snoring worse as much as I love it and find it adorable it doesn't need to be any louder," I say smiling,
"I agree," Addie laughs, "ok tomorrow, we should go get some stuff for her, but for now I think we should get some sleep my love, you look tired as well it's a bit adjustment for all of us." She continued, cupping my cheek in her hand
"Can I give you a kiss?" She ask, and I nod leaning in to her.

I'm back,
Sorry for the break, I do want to continue this story and I like it I just had to figure out how to do it because I have a plan but then as I wright I stray from the order of my plan and then need to figure out where to go from there.
My life has also been crazy, but I think I've managed to sort it now, I hope I'll update regularly but I'm not going to make any promises.
