After school, Taylor stepped into the living room, feeling a mix of relief and apprehension. Her mom, Andrea, sat on the couch with a serious expression, but her eyes softened as Taylor approached.

"Taylor,i have to say, you're finally out of your grounding," Andrea said, her voice firm but warm. "I hope you've learned your lesson about being careful with Travis. I know he means a lot to you, but you need to think about the consequences."

Taylor nodded, biting her lip. "I understand, Mom. I really do. I just want things to go back to normal."

Andrea sighed and patted the seat beside her. "I hope you learned to balance things better. Just be mindful of the choices you make from now on. If you're careful, you can spend time with Travis as much as you want."

Taylor's face lit up with a smile. "Thanks, Mom. I will be careful, I promise."

Andrea gave Taylor a quick hug. "Good. And remember, I'm here if you need to talk about anything."

Taylor felt a weight lift off her shoulders. "I will. Thanks for everything... Sooo can i invite travis over?

Andrea chuckled, a twinkle of amusement in her eyes. "Yes, but keep the door open, okay? I want to make sure everything stays appropriate."

Taylor's eyes widened with excitement. "Yes! I'll text him right now!"

In her room, she was practically bouncing on her bed as she pulled out her phone and quickly typed a message to Travis.

"TRAVISSSS! I'm not grounded anymore!

YOU CAN FINALLY COME OVER. I'm waiting for you."

The reply came almost immediately, with Travis's enthusiasm evident in his words.

"NO WAY! That's awesome! I'll be there soon. Can't wait to see you❤️"

Taylor felt a rush of happiness as she read his message. She flopped onto her bed, practically vibrating with excitement. After a few minutes, she heard a knock on her door and her heart skipped a beat.

"Come in!" she called out, her voice filled with anticipation.

Travis walked into the room, a broad smile on his face. "Hey, you! I'm finally here!"

Taylor jumped up and rushed over to him, throwing her arms around him in a tight hug. "I missed you so fucking much! It feels like forever since I've seen you. Finally we can hang out alone."

Travis wrapped his arms around her, holding her close. "I missed you too. God, I'm glad you're finally out of grounding."

They pulled back slightly, smiling at each other with genuine affection. Travis glanced around the room. "So, what do you want to do now that you're free?"

A mischievous glint appeared in Taylor's eyes as she leaned closer to Travis. "I'd love to make out with you, but you know my mom is down there and she won't let me close the door."

Before Travis could respond, a voice floated up from downstairs. "Hey! I can hear you up there. Keep it in your pants!"

Taylor giggled, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment. "Sorry, Mom!"

Travis chuckled, shaking his head in amusement. "Your mom's got quite the ears."

Taylor leaned in closer, her lips brushing against his. Despite the light hearted interruption, the kiss was tender and full of affection. They pulled back with smiles, enjoying the brief but meaningful moment.
