The school cafeteria was buzzing with chatter, the usual clamor of students discussing everything from homework to weekend plans. Taylor sat in her usual spot, wedged between Selena and Abigail, with Travis was beside her. His arm was draped casually over her shoulder, fingers lightly playing with strands of her hair, twisting and untwisting them as he absentmindedly spoke to the group. His presence was calm, but there was an undeniable tension that lingered between them, a charged connection that felt electrifying.

Taylor felt the warmth of his body next to hers, the subtle possessiveness of his arm around her sending sparks down her spine. She glanced down at his hand, his fingers still tangled in her hair, and suddenly, the most random thought popped into her head, an intrusive urge she couldn't shake off.

Before she could stop herself, she reached for his hand and brought it to her mouth, biting down on the fleshy part of his palm. It wasn't hard enough to hurt, but enough to surprise him.

"Ouch! What the hell, Tay?" Travis's voice was a mix of amusement and shock as he pulled his hand back, rubbing the spot where her teeth had sunk in. He shot her a confused grin. "Why'd you bite me?"

Taylor shrugged, trying to suppress a laugh but failing. "I don't know. I just... couldn't resist." Her eyes sparkled mischievously as she gave him a playful smile. "You looked so biteable."

Selena, sitting across from them, raised an eyebrow and exchanged a look with Abigail. "Did she just say 'biteable'?" she asked, stifling a laugh.

Abigail leaned in, her eyes gleaming with mock curiosity. "Yeah, what's going on, Taylor? Got some primal urges we don't know about?"

Taylor blushed, though the grin on her face didn't fade. "Maybe I do," she said teasingly, nudging Travis with her elbow. "What can I say? He brings it out of me."

Travis chuckled, shaking his head. "Guess I better watch out, huh?"

Abigail smirked and crossed her arms. "Yeah, Travis. Next thing you know, she'll be growling and pouncing on you in the middle of class."

Selena rolled her eyes, laughing. "We should get her a leash. Just to keep things safe."

Taylor playfully swatted at her friends. "Alright, alright, enough of that. I'm not some wild animal."

Travis leaned down toward Taylor, his lips brushing her ear as he whispered, "I wouldn't mind if you were." His voice was low, teasing, and laced with a hint of suggestion. She shivered, feeling the heat rise in her cheeks.

She turned to him, her lips curving into a smirk as she whispered back, "Oh, really?" Her fingers trailed lightly over the back of his hand. "Well, you'll have to wait till after school to find out. I'm home alone today... maybe you should come over and see just how 'wild' I can get."

Travis's eyes darkened slightly, a grin tugging at the corner of his lips as he absorbed her words. "You're playing with fire, babe."

Taylor's heart raced at the low, dangerous tone in his voice, but she smirked back, unfazed. "Good thing I like getting burned." Her voice was soft, just for him, but it carried the weight of her intentions.

Travis leaned in closer, his breath warm against her neck as he murmured, "I'll be there. Hope you're ready for me."

Before Taylor could respond, Selena's voice cut through the charged moment. "You two are seriously killing me with all this whispering. If you're gonna have your own private conversation, at least let us in on it."
