“Yasu-chan, do you believe in myths?”

Rhenho asked Yasu. They were in the Aokigahara forest. They explored both all the inside and outside of the forest. The forest was very famous as the largest suicide place in Japan. Meanwhile, there were some people who were hiking in the Aokigahara forest.

"No. Why?" Yasu replied.

Rhenho stopped and leaned beside the tree. And Yasu was standing in front of her.

"Okay, I'll tell you about the most terrible mystical story that ever happened in this forest."

Yasu laughed, "Are you scaring me?"

Rhenho put on a sullen and annoyed face for her friend's response.

"Okay, just tell me. At least it can reduce boredom.” Yasu said.

Rhenho tells a mystical story about the Aokigahara forest and Yasu listens to it, “Once upon a time, there was a goblin who lived in here. The goblin usually appeared at dusk. She disguised herself as granny. She lived in the middle of the forest. She will offer a resting place to anyone who was still in the forest at dusk. When that person slept the granny turned into a goblin and ate him.”

"Is it all?" Yasu asked.

"How about we look for the goblin's house?"

Yasu hit Rhenho's head which was full of imagination about all fairytale's story, “You are no longer kid. It's just a fairy tale to scare kids."

"Who does knows that the house really exists."

Yasu sighed, “I don't know what I suppose to do. All the fairy tales you consider as a true story. You are even always obsessed with mermaids. And you are eager to meet them.”

"The mermaid does exist. Some people have seen it. There were many videos about mermaids. It has spread a whole world. And I also want to be one of them.” Rhenho argued.

Yasu ignored her friend. She just noticed the dark sky, "It's going to be dark, we better get out of the forest." She walked without paying attention to Rhenho.

After she walked a few meters, she looked back. She saw Rhenho who was leaning against the tree. She shouted in order Rhenho immediately followed her, "Rhen chan!!!!... Don't you want to go home?...Or do you want to be eaten by goblins alive?"

"Wait for me!!!... my shirt are stuck in the tree." It was not that Yasu didn’t want to get out of the forest. But, her shirt got stuck in a tree branch. It make her unable to move. She tried to take his shirt off the twig. But because it took too long. So, she tore his shirt. "Just let it tear. Then I must throw this shirt off."

Rhenho ran towards her and showed her torn shirt with a sullen face. "It is my favorite shirt. But now, it's torned…”.

Yasu held Rhenho's torn part and laughed at her, “it seems like the tear is cool. It could be a new trend.”

Rhenho hit Yasu's shoulder in annoyance. "How about I tear your shirt, too?"

“I don't like torn clothes!!!” Yasu said. “Come on… go home!!!”

"Okay."

They walked towards the exit. But Rhenho felt there was something strange about the moment of the Aokigahara forest. She looked around. It was quiet and silent. Her fear arose. Her mind returned to full of imagination of the fantasy stories that she knew.

“Yasu-chan… do you feel the forest is too quiet and silent?”

Yasu replied, "Of course it's quiet. It is getting dark. Why?" Before Rhenho could answer, Yasu covered Rhenho's mouth. “Shhh… don't say anything. I know you imagine again."
