Tree Of Life : Desert Of Shuya Part 1

The boulder that was belonged to Waylinn and Zephyxia were blown away. They sensed that they were rolling. It meant that they have made it through the Sea of Chaos.

When, the ball stopped, Zephyxia became panicked because it didn’t break. “Waylinn, how can we get out of here?” Zephyxia tried to hit the wall of the ball so it could break. But the wall was tough and didn’t want to crack at all.

However, it was easy for Waylinn to get out. He made a hole. And got out. He saw a very wide expanse of sand.

Desert of Shuya, at first glance seemed like Shayun. There was only a stretch of sand. But the difference was, the color of the golden yellow in Shayun. The color of the sand in the Desert of Shuya was different, it was red. Desert of Shuya, there was not also any cliff.

 Zephyxia came out of the ball. “Waylinn, what place is this?” Zephyxia had heard about how to go to the Tree of Life. She only knew that the place was very difficult to reach. Because, you have to pass some dangerous places and have to risk your soul.

They may have survived the Sea of Chaos. But it doesn’t seem easy to get past the Desert of Shuya.

“Desert of Shuya.” Waylinn replied. He warned Zephyxia to be careful because Desert of Shuya was full of sandstorms.

Waylinn took out a sword. He took out the sword and gave it to Zephyxia. Meanwhile, he was holding the scabbard. “Use this to survive. This place is full of sandstorms.”

“Waylinn, you see that…” Zephyxia’s eyes felt on the big sandstorm that was heading towards them.

Waylinn quickly told Zephyxia to close her eyes. “Close your eyes and hold on to this sword.” He stuck the sword into the sand for Zephyxia.

He also did not forget to stick a scabbard for him.

A huge sandstorm came and hit them. They hold on very tightly, so as not to get carried away by a sandstorm.

“Waylinn isn’t another easier way to go through Desert of Shuya?” Zephyxia said. She felt overwhelmed after fighting a sandstorm.

“Nothing.” Waylinn answered briefly and walked away. “Let’s go!”

“Okay.” Zephyxia followed him. “Waylinn…” Before she could continue her words, a big storm came again. But this time it wasn’t as big as the first storm.

Zephyxia complained. “Why are there so many storms?”

Waylinn advised Zephyxia to wait for him, if she couldn’t walk in the midst of the storm. “You know, you don’t have to follow me until you reach the Tree of Life. It’s too dangerous for you. You better wait for me here.”

The choice that was given by Waylinn, was indeed the best choice. Therefore, she prefered to wait for Waylinn. “Okay. I’ll be waiting for you here.”

Waylinn left Zephyxia alone. Zephyxia saw Waylinn walked away and left her alone. She looked around, there was nothing but sand. It was silence and quiet.

It made Zephyxia change her mind. She followed Waylinn. “Waylinn, wait for me!”

He heard Zephyxia call him, his steps stopped. Then, a big sandstorm came again.

Zephyxia approached Waylinn after the storm stopped. “Waylinn, I changed my mind. I’ve  better come along.”

“Are you sure?” Waylinn said that Zephyxia rethought her decision. “After this, we will pass through a scary and dangerous forest. I can’t confirm your safety.”

 “It’s okay. I will try to take care of myself. With you…” Zephyxia’s words were cut off because the big sandstorm came again.

She continued her words after the sandstorm stopped. “I think I have better to follow you. Instead of waiting for you alone here.”

“Then let’s go.” Then there was an object that felt towards Waylinn. “Augghhh…”

Zephyxia just focused on the object being thrown at them. “Waylinn what is it?”

“I don’t know.”

Zephyxia took it. That thing is very sharp. “Look at this Crystal.” The crystal was white and luminous. “Do you think who own it ?”

Waylinn watched carefully the falling Crystal. Then can he recognize the owner. “I think the owner of this crystal is a noble Immortal. The crystal looks very smooth, similar to My master.”

“Why is the crystal here?”

Waylinn suspected that he was not the one who would go to the Tree of Life. “Of course the destination is Tree of Life. It seems like, this time there were a lot of immortal who are visiting Tree of Life.”

Then, the sandstorm was coming, Waylinn told Zephyxia to keep the crystal soon. He shouted to her, “Save it well!!”

Instantly, a big storm came to them. It was shame that Zephyxia hasn’t had time to catch his words. Zephyxia was not even able to survive in that storm. Her body was almost blown away. Worse yet, Crystal slipped from her handle.

“Where is the crystal?” Waylinn asked after the big storm ended.

“It’s been carried away by the storm.”

Waylinn was angry and shouted loudly, “I’ve told you to save it!!!”

The reason Waylinn asked Zephyxia to keep the crystal, was because he knew that the crystal had enormous power. It can be used to protect herself from enemies. The enemy will immediately disappear when the crystal was pierced.

“Waylinn, I’m sorry. I accidentally let go. After all, the storm was too big.”

“I remembered that I never allow you to follow me.” Waylinn left Zephyxia alone. He just walked straight and ignored Zephyxia. It was as if he didn’t care about Zephyxia anymore.

While Zephyxia stood frozen in place. She looked at Waylinn who went away leaving her alone. She really wanted to catch up with Waylinn, but she was too scared because of his anger.

“It turns out that the master and servant have the same nature. They’re cruel.” Finally, Zephyxia had seen another side of Waylinn. Once she knew Waylinn, she felt that he was different from Marchio. Shee saw that there was no cruel side in Waylinn. That was why she often followed Waylinn.

However, there was nothing to be sorry for follow Waylinn. Her body had become ugly.  Although Waylinn left her, her fate was in his hands. Only he can help her to get her body backed to normal.

Extremely annoyed, Zephyxia turned around. She no longer followed Waylinn. She backed to the edge of the Sea of Chaos. She walked alone and passed the sandstorm that came incessantly.

She was also almost blown away by a sandstorm.

Zephyxia relieved after she saw the Sea of Chaos. From afar, she saw something glowing stuck in the sand. She approached it.

“It is the previous crystal, isn’t it?” She recognized Crystal which made Waylinn upset. She held the crystal, then threw it far into the Sea of Chaos.

The crystal was actually carried away by the current. But it returned. She grabbed and threw It again. Then, there was one thing she realized. She noticed her hand that touched Crystal which was soaked in water from the Sea of Chaos.

“My hands are fine. My body also had no signs of disappearing. It means the crystal is very special and can’t be destroyed. Although it contains of water from Sea of Chaos water.”

She became happy when she saw the Crystal thrown back. Then, she thought of Waylinn, “It seems Waylinn really needs it. But he…”

Zephyxia became doubtful whether she would return the crystal to Waylinn or not. “Maybe, Waylinn doesn’t angry anymore after I find this?”

She was also aware that Waylinn’s sword was in her hand. “Meanwhile, this sword?” Hence she knew that it was not easy to reach out the Tree of Life. That meant without any weapon,  impossible for Waylinn reached out that place.

Finally, she decided to follow Waylinn. She just wanted to return the sword.
