Tree Of Life : Desert Of Shuya Part 2

Zephyxia returned to trace Desert of Shuya. She walked alone in the desert, expansed of great storms. She felt that she became a burden to Waylinn, because she had decided to accompany Waylinn to the Tree of Life.

She just wanted to return Waylinn’s sword that she was holding. When she would met Waylinn, she didn’t know if he still hated her or not. For this case, Waylinn’s life was at stake.

She could have just left Waylinn and ignored him. However, it would be something very bad for her. If Waylinn couldn’t get through all the terrible places in the Tree of Life.

During the big sandstorm, she often grumbled. “Why are the storms getting more and more?”

If Waylinn didn’t give her sword, it was easy for Zephyxia to just walk away. So, she didn’t have to worry about Waylinn’s safety.

“If I don’t hold the Waylinn sword. I prefer to sit quietly on the edge of the Sea of Chaos. Then, wait for other immortal to come and cross the ocean safely.” It was what she had planned in advance. But, she would never be able to do it. After all, Waylinn’s life was in her hand.

“But, I carry the Waylinn sword. Without a weapon, it’s difficult to survive for him. What if he can’t survive and arrive at the Tree of Life, then he finally disappears?”

One of the worst things for her, it was that her body would be like that forever. “If that happens what about me? I don’t want to be ugly forever.” There was one thing that was much worse. “If something happens to Waylinn, what about Marchio? He won’t just let me go.”

That was the thing she was most afraid of. Behind it all, she did it just for the sake of survival because she was from the Fairy Clan. Where immortals can live freely, without any bond with the ruler.

One of the most profitable things to become a fairy clan, which was that it can never be used as a guardian spirit. They can only be used as friends. Nothing more than that.

They were also free from conflicts between clans. It meant that they will never get involved in war.

Actually, what she did was only for herself. It was just to survive in the Immortal realm. Meanwhile Waylinn, until this time he was part of her way of being able to live and got what she wanted.

After a very long walk, Zephyxia saw a very large and dark area. On the other hand, she felt relieved that she had made it through the sandstorm in the Desert of Shuya. However, on the other hand, there was something more terrifying than a barrage of sand storms. I was there and waited for her.

“Finally coming out of the sandstorm soon.” she looked back. She saw a sandstorm coming towards her. But she was silent. Because she knew that how big the sandstorm was coming, it would disappear soon as it approached Agafield.

“But what place is that? It seems that the place is terrible.”

Agafield, from the outside it seemed like a dark spot. Only a small amount of light could entered through the Agafield. There were big trees inside.

All of the trees can move. Each of them, there was Immortal who hided inside. It was like the fairy clan in Gizleen Park, all the Immortals in Agafield were not easy to leave.

The difference was, Immortals who were in Agafield cannot survive when exposed to light from outside. If it done, they would disappear. They can only live in very cold and dark spot, like Agafield.

The only way to get out of Agafield was to use a special body armor. It was made of agafield leaves. However, it can’t last long because the leaves dried up quickly.

Agafield, it was not easy to pass. All the Immortal of Agafield liked to make it difficult for outside to enter the area.

The only way to get through Agafield was some help from inside. Without them, it would be stuck forever in there.

Immortals of Agafield have special abilities.  It didn’t had by other immortals. They can turn into shadows.

Immortal who were caught in the trap, would not be able to control their own bodies. Immortals of Agafield who can only move it.

In addition, the immortals of Agafield were dark in color and similar to trees. It made their existence were hard to find. Even immortals who have a sharp smell, difficult to distinguish between trees and the inhabitants.

There were two ways to find out the presence of the immortals of Agafield. First by listening to every movement. Only Immortal who have sharp hearing that can do it.

The second, it was the reflection of the crystal that was owned by the noble. The crystal was indeed special. It can emit light that can weaken the immortals of Agafield. When they were exposed to the reflection of the light, the Immortals of Agafield will appear soon.

Another ability possessed by the immortals of Agafield, was that they can transform into any Immortal perfectly. With the exact same character, the voice and abilities.

While in front of Agafield, Zephyxia hesitated to enter or not. The place was too dark and gripping for fairy clans like Zephyxia. She often lived in bright places like Gizleen Park.

The darkness inside made the place so cold. It became the coldest place in the Immortal realm. However, it won’t be able to make everything in it freeze.

While she was trying to take of a step, she felt cold. “Aughhhh, this place is so cold.” she  pulled back her leg.

She just looked deep into the Agafield. “This place is also very dark.” she suddenly doubted whether she would enter it or not. “Is it possible that I shouldn’t follow Waylinn. But what about him?”

Her mind was completely filled with doubt. At least she should be able to meet Waylinn. Because she was holding something that she shouldn’t keep. Hence for, she had to return it immediately.

Every weapon possessed by Immortal has been connected to the soul of its owner. Therefore, Immortals cannot hold weapons that was not theirs. When it done for a long time, it can become a boomerang and attack everything around. The soul of owner was also absorbed by the weapon.

It was the reason why Zephyxia had to find Waylinn. She just wanted to return his weapon that  she was holding. Because her soul  was in danger.

First, her soul might be absorbed by Waylinn’s weapon first before Marchio was angry. Because Waylinn did not return. Second, although she didn’t accompany Waylinn to the Tree of Life, at least she had to make sure that Waylinn could survive and arrive at that place.

From the outside, she heard a familiar voice. “Zephyxia, why do you chase after me?” The voice that led her to step inside.
