Tree Of Life

Tree of Life was in front of him. Just one step away, Waylinn could complete what Marchio ordered. After that, there was a lot he would do.

It was just that he didn’t know if Marchio let him or forbid him. Although he had regained his strength, he was not match for Marchio.

He descended on a small shining pool. He looked down. His body began to turn into a human. His tail disappeared. He turned into a man.

The small rock of zephyxia flied. The small stone also turned into a human. Zephyxia turned into a very beautiful woman. But it only happened for a while. Zephyxia turned to stone again.

Although he could only see Zephyxia for a while, he felt calm. “Zephyxia, thank you. Thank you for what you have done.”

Waylinn looked up. There were many stairs he had to go through.

He walked towards the stairs. One by one. He felt strange with his human body. For him, the human body was very weak. He just walked a few stairs, but his energy was drained.

Therefore he walked slowly just to conserve energy. In Tree of Life, there was not food or drink that humans really needed. If he pushed himself too much, it was impossible for him  to pass the millions of stairs.

He kept going. After a few steps, Waylinn felt used to being a human. His body felt cold with sweat that came out.

“Is this how it feels to be a human like Heka? It is tiring. No wonder, he always whines to become an immortals.”

He also remembered that Zephyxia also had the desire to become a human. “Zephyxia, you know what, being an immortal is much better than a human. Although every day you face a life-threatening danger, at least you have a lot of hope to do everything you want to do.”

Waylinn stopped. He felt exhausted. He sat on the stairs. From above he felt strange. “Why can I only see the Lake of Fire?”

He touched his eyes. “With these eyes, I can’t see anything at all.” He closed his eyes. He tried to look further.

But there was nothing he could see, but darkness. Because his eyes were closed.

Waylinn opened his eyes again. He stood up and went upstairs.

Although his body was a whole human. But the soul of the Immortal was intake. He could felt that after this he would have a pretty tough day. The task that Marchio gave to him was hard for him.

Therefore, he tried to save energy as much as possible. He just felt like hesitating for a while.

Waylinn touched his chest. There was one thing he could understand. “It turns out that being a half-immortal is not easy.”

Like the Immortal wo he met in Agafield and Shayun. The human body was too weak to the Immortal power. Especially, for noble. It might be very torturous.

It was not easy to become a noble Immortals. No matter how big the strength you have, it was not worth to the burden.

Pariah immortals can’t have the same power as noble. At lease, there was only one thing to do, hold on for himself.

For a few moment, Waylinn arrived at the peak of the Tree of Life. Although he felt tired, he could feel how it felt like what was the goal of life could be fulfilled.

Having alive was meant having a goal. After the goal of life achieved, we must seek new goals, so that we have a reason to live on.

But it didn’t suit to fairy clans like Zephyxia. The Fairy Clan made all Immortals envious. Because they can do whatever they wanted and went anywhere.

Unlike other immortals, they have to live up as they were told. For Immortals it was Destiny.

Finally, Waylinn arrived at the Tree of Life. The tree was large and had a very strong aura.

The tree was white. It meant there was not Immortal entered. When an Immortal entered it, the color of the tree would change like the element possessed by the Immortal.

Waylinn touched the tree. The color was slowly turning silver.

Silver was lightning element. The water element was blue. The fire element was red. The earth element was brown. The wind element was green. Crystal elements was magenta.

Noble immortals have at least two elements. But the element that shown in Tree of Life was a crystal element.

Waylinn entered the Tree of Life.

Inside the Tree of Life was so bright. He couldn’t see anything but white light.

“Waylinn…”

someone called him. The voice was very foreign to him. He looked around. He didn’t see anyone. Everything he saw was completely white.

He wanted to walk and figure out the direction of the voice. But his legs felt very heavy to walk.

“Waylinn…”

the voice was heard back. “Who are you? Who does call me?” His body hardened and petrified.

Waylinn felt something entered his body. His body felt cracked slowly. It was so painful.

It was fair. Because his current body was still in human form. The human body never withstood the power of the Immortal.

Slowly, his immortal body returned to normal. The pain wasn’t bad anymore.

Waylinn came out of the Tree of Life. He could feel his lightning element back again. His strength has fully recovered.

He looked at the Tree of Life. The color returned to white.

In front of him, there was an Immortal who was was waiting for him. She came from Gizleen Park, just like Zephyxia. He wondered, why did the Fairy Clan came to the Tree of Life.

He looked further. She was same as him.

It was not easy to make the fairy clan to be a servant. Except for a immortal who has the same power as Marchio.

But let it be.

Waylinn had to return, then finished what Marchio ordered. Because his power has returned, he used teleportation. So he could go to Kiervant Sky faster.

But that immortal from Gizleen Park stopped him. “What is she Zephyxia?”

“Hhhmmm…” Waylinn replied.

“It turned out that she ended up that fast.”

“Do you know how to revive her?”

“Why do you want to revive a weak immortal like her. She will only be a burden that can harm everyone.”

Waylinn couldn’t deny what he said was true. “However, she’s different from you. She does not hesitate to sacrifice herself.”

“Seems like you really care about her. Return her to Gizleen Park.” She said. Then she entered the Tree of Life. The color of the tree turned into green.
