Purple Moon Part 1

“Have you visit to the human realm before?” Heka asked Waylinn.

“The last visit is about 1000 years ago, when it count by human time.”

Heka was so surprised. He stepped on the brake pedal suddenly.

“Why? Do we arrive yet?”

“Not yet. Sorry, I just surprise.” Heka became curious about how old Waylinn was. “May I know how old you are?”

Waylinn glanced at Heka. It made Heka felt uncomfortable. Then he said, “I’m just curious about life in the Immortal realm. It seems much more funny than living in human realm.”

Heka stopped the car suddenly. He felt that he had hit something. “I seem like hit something. I’ll got out to check it.”

He tried to open the door, but he couldn’t. He was sure that he had unlocked it. He also saw on the dashboard the car door was also unlocked.

“Don’t get out, just drive,” Waylinn said.

Heka stared at Waylinn with a bit surprised. However, he couldn’t figure out what it meant. He didn’t dare to ask. For him, it was the best way to avoid small debate.

He followed what Waylinn said. One thing that he hoped. Something that he had hit, it was just a wild animal.

When it was a pet, the owner will surely demand it.

“Do you really want to know how long I’ve lived?” Waylinn said and Heka just nodded.

After several times he visited the Immortal realm, He has a dream that someday he could live in there forever. For him, the Immortal realm became the most appropriate world ever.

He felt very comfortable and safe in there. Because he felt tired of living in the human realm.

“I have lived for about 150,000 years.”

“It seems like it’s good to be an Immortal and live forever.” He stared at Waylinn. He wished that he could be born as an Immortal. He also didn’t forget about Marchio, “Then, what about Marchio? how long has he lived?”

“My lord, of course much longer than me. Maybe about 500,000 years. It seems more. I’m so lucky when he adopted me. Otherwise, Ijust become a hungry creature. Wandering here and there, just to survive. Become immortals is not easy. It’s easier to be an ordinary person.” Waylinn said.

Heka couldn’t catch what Waylinn had said. “What do you mean? I can’t understand at all. I think living forever is most funny. Instead human who can only live for a maximum of 100 years.”

Waylinn explained in more detail about life in the Immortal realm, “The Rules of Realm in the Immortal realm are very strict. If you violate it, the stakes are the soul. For spirit of a wild lowly animal like me, it is hard to survive. Many of them are hunted by the other, to become slaves and treated inappropriately. Immortal realm is not as beautiful as you imagine. Only few immortal that have high class can live in peace, calm and can do whatever they want.”

It broke Heka’s hope. He wanted to leave the human ream immediately. So he could live in an immortal realm like Waylinn. Although he had to serve Marchio forever.

It was the most appropriate way to survive, as Waylinn did. For him, Marchio was the most appropriate and safest.

As long as there was Marchio, everything will be fine. Nothing to worry about.

Heka was happy, because he got a lot of money after he exchanged the crystal which was given by Marchio.

With that money, he ordered a lot of rabbits for Marchio. The amount he ordered was too much. So he had to wait until everything was collected. Because the stock of rabbits in the animal house was less.

Although he had completed what Marchio had instructed, Waylinn’s attitude became  cold. He didn’t have the courage to ask why he did.

Waylinn just sat and closed his eyes.

When Heka saw Hitchcock Lake, he realized something. He didn’t control the steering wheel. He wanted to drive straight, but his hands refused.

Heka glanced at Waylinn, it was certain that he did it. If was not him, who else?

Suddenly the sky became dark. “Is it solar eclipse? But, why is there any notification?” Heka looked at the sun. The sun was normal and there were no signs of the moon covered it.

His gaze moved down to the lake. The shadow of the sun in the lake was completely disappeared. There was a purple moon.

“Stop!!!” Waylinn said.

“Okay.” Heka pulled over and stopped the car.

Waylinn got out of the car. He was looking at the shadow of the moon in the lake. Then A creature appeared from the shadow of the moon. It was like the monster that he saw in the supermarket yesterday.

After the monster revealed its entire body, Waylinn jumped off the bridge. His movements were so fast. Heka couldn’t see his movements at all.

Heka felt something touching him. His body ached and felt like there was blood coming out. As he felt from a height.

When he opened his eyes he was no longer in the car. He didn’t know what happened to him. Everything happened so fast, as it was just in a second.

He seemed like that he was under the bridge. He found his body lying and full of wounds. A lot of blood comes out. It made him very weak and unable to move.

He saw the monster Waylinn was chasing. But he had something that he didn’t understand. The monster was suddenly in front of him. That time, it approached him.

“Waylinn, where are you?” He saw a monster in front of him. He frightened. Waylinn was only hope for him to live.

But he didn’t see Waylinn. Either, he didn’t know Waylinn’s presence. It made him thought about his last day. “Is this my last day to live?”

At that time he remembered Clancy. He only wrote about his meeting with Marchio. Actually there were many things he has not told Clancy. However, it was impossible to say. At least, he had already given Clancy his last gift.

He was really desperate. Moreover, it was clear that there was no hope for him to live. His body was seriously injured and could not move at all. Moreover, the monster in front of him, was ready to end his life.

He remembered when Marchio asked him to return to Kiervant Sky. He gave him a Reversed Time Illusion. At that time Marchio could not guarantee Heka’s life. In the end, Heka can come back to life after being stabbed by Ansel. He almost didn’t believe that miracle had come to him.

“Can there be a miracle for me? No matter how small it is? I really want to live.” It was the words that he said to himself. He didn’t dare to expect that it was his last words.
