Tree Of Life : Frozen Lake

A little more, Waylinn can arrive at the Tree of Life. He just needed to pass the Lake of Fire. At the peak of Aeron Hill, he saw a vast iceland. It was frozen lake.

Frozen Lake was a frozen land. Anything that touched, it would immediately freeze. Marchio has told Waylinn an easy way to cross Frozen Lake.

The only way to get through Frozen Lake without freezing was to make a path using snow. But that was not all, you have to bring something belonging to noble. Another way was to fly.

Waylinn knocked down Aeron Hill to cover Frozen Lake. So, he needed to walk.

He saw that there were many frozen Immortals. But there was one immortal that made him stoped his footsteps. He was Reiner. He quickly tried to break the ice that covered Reiner.

Unfortunately the ice was not easy to break. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t break it.

Finally, he gave up. He remembered the last time he met Reiner. They promised that they would go to the Tree of Life together.

Reiner was a creature who closed to Waylinn. They were same from Arleviant. Reiner was one of the immortal who knew Waylinn’s name before being replaced by Marchio. Previously, his name was Fraynery.

“Freynery!!!” Reiner called. Reiner noticed what had happened to Freynery. “What happened to you? Why is your body like a human?”

Waylinn looked at Reiner with hatred. He hated himself who had nothing, only as servant. “From now on, there is no Freynery, but Waylinn.”

“What happened to you? I’m looking for you everywhere.”

Waylinn just went away. He tried to avoid Reiner and refused to explain anything. But it was not easy.

Just for a small touch of Reiner, his body almost burned because of Reiner’s lightning. Waylinn felt down.

“Freynery, no. now you are Waylinn. It seems he treats you badly. Don't worry, I will avenge him and set you free.” Reiner turned around, but was stopped by Waylinn.

Waylinn held Reiner’s tail. “Don’t do that. You will never beat Marchio. He’s very strong. Moreover, he is from the Heaven. After all, even if I’m free, it’s useless. I can’t possibly survive.”

Waylinn stood up. “I have to go back to Kiervant Sky soon. I’m happy because you’re fine.” Waylinn left him alone.

Reiner noticed Waylinn who left him. He really didn’t expect what happened to Waylinn.

They were always together. Waylinn was much stronger than Reiner. Waylinn came as soon as when he found out Reiner was in danger. Now everything was upside down.

After the destruction of the Spirit Realm, many Immortals disappeared. Some were seriously injured. At that time, they were separated.

When Reiner had recovered. He was looking for Waylinn. He heard that there was an Immorta who lost his power and was made a servant by a immortal who came from the Heaven.

When he found out, he hoped that he was not a Frenery. However, he was very worried that he was Frenery. Because he couldn’t feel his presence.

When he saw Waylinn’s condition, Reiner would not remain silent. He found out a way to restore Waylinn’s power.

With the current condition of Waylinn, it was difficult to roam the Immortal realm. That was  why Reiner followed him quietly. If there was something that endangered Waylinn, he would attack soon.

It occurred at once. Waylinn returned to Kiervant Sky after he visited Camzilia. He carried a rare sword that had been ordered by Marchio. Some immortals chased after it. One of them was Tarancha.

Tarancha appeared in front of Waylinn. “Frenery, no, Waylinn give me the sword.”

Waylinn ignored him. He turned and walked away from Tarancha.

Tarancha threw a lightning spear right in front of Waylinn. So, Waylinn was silent just standing up straight. If he moved, even a few, the spear would emit lightning at him.

“Don’t be arrogant. Now, you are nothing but servant. So, give it to me, then I’ll let you go.” Tarancha said.

Waylinn was silent. However, he had to give it to Marchio. Because if he didn’t do it, something bad would happen.

Because Waylinn was silent. The spear emitted lightning. Lightning formed a circle and surrounded Waylinn. The more longer, the circle narrowed.

“I’m sure that you want to stay alive. Therefore, you don’t have anything. So, it’s better to give it to me, hurry up.”

Deadlock.

To whom he gave the sword, he would eventually end in death. He just chose, ended up in   Marchio or Tarancha.

Then, Reiner came he hit Tarancha’s spear. “Waylinn, are you okay? Sorry I come late.”

All this time, Waylinn knew that Reiner always followed him wherever he went. He always ensured his safety. “Thank you.”

Reiner said, “Tarancha, if you want that sword why don’t you come to Kiervant Sky?”

“Why I have to visit that place, if what I want, it’s in front of me.” Tarancha replied.

 “I see, you are a coward. You’re just afraid of Marchio.”

Those words made Tarancha offended. “Why am I afraid of Marchio? If can beat him easily.”

“I hope you hold on to your words and fight Marchio.”

Tarancha just left them away.

“Waylinn, I’ll take you to Kiervant Sky.” It would be better if Waylinn was near Reiner. At least, no one attacked him.

“Thank you for saving me.”

“Waylinn, I have found a way. So you can get the Lightning Element back. Tree of Life.”

 Waylinn refused, “No thanks. After all, it’s difficult for me to do something I want to. Now, my life is not mine anymore. Maybe Marchio doesn’t allow me to go to that place.”

“Try to talk to him. At least you can take care of yourself.”

“Okay, I’ll try.”

“We will go together.”

After they arrived at Kiervant Sky, Waylinn asked Marchio first. So he could go to the Tree of Life. Marchio didn’t answer at all. But he cut off one of Waylinn’s legs. It meant he can’t.

And then, Waylinn met Reiner, “Reiner, sorry I can’t go to Tree of Life.”

“What happened to your leg?”

“It’s nothing, even I don’t have any power. However I’m still an Immortal. My legs will grow back. It’s just that the time is a quite longer.”

“I don’t think that he was so cruel to you.”

Waylinn denied, “You misunderstood, he’s not like that. He’s rude, but he’s very kind to me.”

 “Whats kind of good? look at yourself.”

“Let’s just say this is my punishment, for fighting him. I told you, my life is not my own. Everything I do must be in accordance with his orders.”

“Okay, let me go to the Tree of Life. After my strength increases, I will free you from Marchio. Then, I will take you to Tree of Life to get your Lightning Element back.”

“Take care of yourself.”

Since then, Waylinn has not seen Reiner. As if Reiner disappeared. During that time he wondered if Reiner managed to go to Tree of Life or not. Turned out, he was stuck in Frozen Lake. Since he didn’t get Reiner out of the ice, Waylinn gave up. He left Reiner and continued on his way to the Lake of Fire.
