Tree Of Life : Agafield Part 2

It was not easy to get past Agafield. All the giant trees were very misleading. Since then, Waylinn felt like he was just circling in the same place. He became sorry for letting the Crystal they found held by Zephyxia.

But what can he do. Now he felt hopeless. There was no one way he thought of getting out of Agafield.

Waylinn was silent. He was thinking about getting past Agafield. The moment became more difficult when the immortals of Agafield disturbed him.

In front of him, appeared the figure of Marchio. However, he knew that the immortals in front of him was not Marchio, but the immortals of Agafield.

“Stop bothering me. I know who you are. Meanwhile, It’s not be easy to trick me.” Waylinn said to the immortals of Agafield who disguised Marchio.

Then the immortals returned to its original form. He looked angry because Waylinn was not trapped into their illusion. They buried Waylinn with leaves from the tree above him.

“They’re much more annoying than Seamor and Marshy.” Waylinn complained who was trying to remove the leaves from his body.

The immortals of Agafield often deceives other who entered. They will transform into other immortal who have close relationships.

The disguise was perfect. It was difficult to distinguish which was the original and the occupants. Therefore, when he was at Agafield, he should not immediately believe in everything that was seen.

When the Immortal can be fooled, he will be trapped and become a immortals of Agafield forever. But at a certain time, the immortals of Agafield who came from outside will be used as sacrifices to the nobles of Agafield. It happened every 50 years.

He stood up and continued his journey. He hoped to find a way out. Just kept quiet, it won’t solve anything. In fact, there would be other immortals of Agafield who came to annoy him if he stayed silent.

Waylinn just kept going. He didn’t care every path he took was confusing and circling around. The only thing he could do was try to find a way out.

But it was over when he met the noble. He saw the noble was walking while holding the crystal. He scratched the crystal on every tree he passed.

When he saw him, he remembered the Fox Princess he had met some time ago. The immortal was a noble and seemed so strong. But he has a human body.

Waylinn saw him for the first time. Although he didn’t know him, his position was the same as Marchio. He was the ruler. Because of that he immediately bowed after realizing that noble knew of his presence.

If it was just a princess or prince or ordinary noble, Waylinn dared to say hello. But for a ruler, he did not dare at all. He prefered to stand still.

It was just a way of surviving and avoiding problems.

Waylinn heard something. It was heading towards him. But not about it. It felt right in front of him. It was a crystal stick.

He looked back. But the noble was no longer visible. Waylinn was eager to thank him directly. Because the noble had given something what he really needed for that moment. However, he had no chance.

With that crystal, Waylinn could pass Agafield easily. He was very lucky.

He took the crystal and stood up. He looked at the crystal. A light radiated from Crystal. The light bounced towards several trees. A tree exposed to the reflection of light was a guide to passing Agafield. While the tree that did not get the reflection, it meant that the tree was an illusory tree. It was misleading.

Waylinn continued his journey by following the directions.

But in the middle of the trip, Waylinn saw Zephyxia. She was with the immortal of Agafield who were disguised as himself. “Zephyxia, how did she get here?”

Without any doubt, he threw the crystal. But he stopped suddenly before the crystal was released . If he threw the crystal, it meant he didn’t have the chance to pass Agafield easily. The only way was to divide the crystal into two.

Breaking the crystal was not simple. Because he had to put Crystal into his body first.

Waylinn stabbed his tail with the crystal. The tail was the only possible part of the body to be injured. He couldn’t possibly hurt his hands or feet. He needed it to get through the next place.

After his tail was punctured by Crystal, he pulled it out. Then broke it and threw it at Zephyxia. The crystal felt right on the wing of Zephyxia. It made the wings disappear.

 Waylinn saw Zephyxia lamenting her broken wings. She seemed to looking for someone who had broken her wings. He appeared so that Zephyxia could be aware of his presence.

However, it made Zephyxia look confused. She couldn’t  distinguish between real and fake. “You idiot…!!!”

“Zephyxia, what are you doing here? Let’s go!!!” Waylinn said.

Then the fake Waylinn tried to seduce her, “Zephyxia, don’t listen to him. He’s not the real Waylinn. But I’m the real Waylinn.”

It was completely out of control. There was nothing he could do to convince Zephyxia. Moreover, the wound on his tail has not been completely closed. So he couldn’t attack the immortal of Agafield at all.

Waylinn simply handed over all the decisions in her hand. If she believed that he was the real Waylinn, it meant she was conscious and has not been completely trapped in the illusion. But if Zephyxia chose the immortal of Agafield, then Waylinn would just let her go. It meant Zephyxia would be trapped in Agafield forever.

Zephyxia pointed the sword towards of them, both Waylinn and the immortal of Agafield. “Which of the real Waylinn you guys are?”

“I’m the real Waylinn. Trust me…” The immotal of Agafield said.

“Zephyxia, I can’t waste my time. It’s all up to you. Do you want to come with me or stay at Agafield forever. I won’t force you.” Waylinn turned around and left Zephyxia along with the immortal of Agafield.

“Waylinn, wait for me!!!” Zephyxia shouted. Waylinn didn’t turn around at all. He just slowed his steps.

“Why do you prefer to follow me? Didn’t I say that it’s better to just wait at the Desert of Shuya.” Waylinn’s words were only a reminder and a warning to Zephyxia.

“Because I know you are real.” Zephyxia gave him a sword. “I want to return this. A trip to Tree of Life is not simple thing. Without this, it must be very difficult for you to get through it all.”

 Zephyxia was right, without his sword, it was very difficult for him to pass through all the places in the Tree of Life.

“Thank you.” Waylinn said he took his sword and inserted it into the scabbard.

"You don't seem happy when I follow you. I just realized that I'm just your burden. That’s why I’ll be back. I will wait at Desert of Shuya.”

“There is no way to return to Desert of Shuya.” Waylinn said. Zephyxia was already inside Agafield. So they should go to the Tree of Life together.
