Chapter - 15 Capture a feeling!

As soon as Jimin arrived back at his apartment, he dashed to his bedroom. He quickly retrieved the pen drive he had taken the previous night, tucking it securely into his pocket. He glanced at the clock, noting the time. It was still early evening, and he knew he needed to wait a bit before heading to Yoongi’s place. He wanted to make sure that his visit seemed spontaneous rather than planned.

After two hours of pacing around his apartment and trying to calm his nerves, Jimin finally decided it was time. He slipped on his jacket and took a deep breath. He was nervous but excited—this was his chance to make a meaningful gesture. He grabbed his phone, checked the address once more, and headed out.

Jimin’s heart raced as he made his way to Yoongi’s apartment building. The streets were beginning to empty, and the evening air was crisp. He arrived at the building and took a moment to steady himself before pressing the doorbell. The chime echoed through the hallway, and Jimin’s anticipation grew with each passing second.

After a few moments, the door creaked open, and Yoongi stood there, looking both surprised and confused. His eyes widened as he saw Jimin standing in the doorway.

“Jimin? What are you doing here?” Yoongi asked, his voice tinged with disbelief.

Jimin gave a shy but earnest smile. “Hi, Yoongi. I know it’s a bit of a surprise, but I thought I’d drop by and see if you needed any help with the pen drive situation.”

Yoongi’s confusion didn’t fade. He stood there for a moment, processing Jimin’s unexpected visit. “I appreciate the thought, but we’ve already searched the entire studio. You didn’t have to come all the way here.”

Jimin stepped inside, not waiting for an invitation but still maintaining a polite demeanor. “I understand, but I thought maybe if we searched together one more time, we might find it. I’m here to help.”

Yoongi closed the door behind Jimin, looking more perplexed than ever. “Alright, come on in. But I must admit, I’m still not sure what you hope to find.”

Jimin followed Yoongi into the living area. He looked around, noting the sleek, modern furnishings and the slight air of organized chaos that came with a busy artist’s home. He glanced over at Yoongi, who was rubbing his temples in frustration.

“So,” Jimin began, trying to break the tension, “how’s everything going otherwise? Any exciting projects coming up?”

Yoongi sighed, taking a seat on the couch. “Yeah, just trying to wrap up some new tracks. It’s been a long day. I thought I’d at least find the pen drive and get some peace of mind.”

Jimin sat down next to Yoongi, his mind racing with what to say next. “I know it’s probably not the most exciting thing to hear right now, but I have to say, the music you played for me the other day was amazing. I’ve been thinking about it ever since.”

Yoongi looked at him, slightly taken aback by the comment. “You really liked it?”

Jimin nodded enthusiastically. “Yes, it was incredible. It felt like it had so much emotion behind it. It made me appreciate your music even more.”

Yoongi’s expression softened a bit. “Thanks. That means a lot, especially considering how personal that track was.”

Jimin smiled, feeling a bit more at ease. “You’re welcome. I guess I just wanted to show my support, and I figured this visit might be a good way to do that.”

Yoongi seemed to relax a little. “Well, it’s certainly unexpected. But since you’re here, I guess we can give the search one last try.”

They both stood up, and Jimin pretended to help Yoongi look around the apartment. He made sure to keep his movements casual, all the while keeping the pen drive hidden in his pocket.

As they searched through drawers and under furniture, Jimin tried to engage Yoongi in more conversation. “So, what inspired you to create that song? It sounded like it had a really deep story behind it.”

Yoongi glanced at him, seeming to appreciate the distraction. “It’s a mix of personal experiences and fictional elements. I wanted to capture a feeling of longing and heartache, something that resonates with a lot of people.”

Jimin nodded, genuinely interested. “It definitely does. Sometimes it’s amazing how music can convey emotions that words alone can’t.”

Yoongi smiled slightly. “Yeah, music has a way of speaking to people on a different level.”

As they finished searching the living area, Jimin could see Yoongi’s frustration start to fade. He admired Yoongi’s dedication and passion, which made him more determined to be supportive.

“Well,” Jimin said, trying to sound hopeful, “we didn’t find it this time, but I’m sure it will turn up soon. Sometimes these things have a way of showing up when you least expect them.”

Yoongi nodded, though he still looked disappointed. “Yeah, hopefully.”

Jimin decided it was time to make his exit. He reached into his pocket, feeling the pen drive securely tucked away. “I’m sorry I couldn’t be more help. I really do hope you find it soon.”

Yoongi walked him to the door, his expression a mix of gratitude and lingering frustration. “Thanks for coming by, Jimin. Even though we didn't find that pen drive yet I appreciate the effort.”

Jimin gave a reassuring smile. “Anytime, Yoongi. I’m here to help but what's inside there, that room...?”

Jimin said pointing to that one side, Yoongi also look there and answered, "that is my home studio but I don't think so that pen drive could be there."

Jimin Opposed, "Why not? how are you so sure about this, I think we have to check once there also!"

Yoogi eventually agreed...
