Emily POV:
Today is the day.
This is the moment that it's all come down too.
I'm finally trying out to play for the UConn lacrosse team. I might finally play lacrosse again after all of these years. Right now I can't tell whether I'm more excited at the possibility to play lacrosse again, or if I'm more nervous about the fact that I might not make this team.
Seeming to sense my nerves, I felt Tatum walk up behind me and wrap her arms around my waist. I sighed, placing my hands over her arms as she rested her chin on my shoulder.
"Hey everything is going to be okay. You're going to make the team. And no matter what happens today just know that I love you and I'm beyond proud of you." She said before placing a soft kiss on my cheek.
"Thank you." I whispered before turning around to face Tatum. Her arms stayed wrapped around my waist and I draped my arms over her shoulders. "I love you too." I whispered before leaning in and giving her a kiss.
When we pulled apart, I took a second to look her up and down. I've always loved how beautiful she is, especially when she's in her workout gear. All her perfectly toned muscles showing-
"If you keep looking at me like that we're never going to make it out of this room." Tatum whispered huskily. I could hear the desire dripping from her words. I glanced over my shoulder to see Sienna still asleep in her bed.
It's currently 5am on Monday and Sienna doesn't have class until 1pm. She's definitely not waking up anytime soon.
"Sienna's asleep." I whispered as I turned back to face Tatum. She just shrugged her shoulders.
"So? I can be quiet, can you?" She whispered in my ear before placing a hot kiss on my neck. My breath caught in my throat and it was nearly impossible to pull away from her.
She's right. If we start this now then we will never make it to tryouts.
"That's the fattest lie I've ever heard. If I recall correctly, last time you did the exact opposite of staying quiet. How many times did you moan my name? Probably around-"
"Okay! Okay! That's enough!" Tatum whisper yelled as she reached her hand out to cover my mouth. I couldn't help but let out a slight chuckle.
"I'm done. I promise." I mumbled from under her hand. Tatum gave me a skeptical look before hesitantly removing her hand from my face. I leaned in and placed a hot kiss on Tatum's lips.
"We'll finish this later." I whispered in her ear before stepping back. I grabbed my lacrosse equipment from off of the floor and it took Tatum a second before she was grabbing her gear as well. We then quietly slipped out of the dorm room and shut the door behind us as not to risk waking up Sienna. That girl sleeps like a bear though. She would've slept through our fire drill last month if I hadn't violently shaken her awake.
Tatum and I then walked out of the dorm building and stepped out into the cold air. We both had on shorts despite the cold because we both know that once we start running around we'll get hot quick. We both also wore long sleeve athletic shirts that did a good job blocking out the cold wind but also weren't too hot.
The walk to the field was calm and relaxing, despite the nerves that these tryouts were causing me. Tatum and I walked hand in hand, our lacrosse bags on our backs and our sticks in our opposite hands.
As the field became closer and closer, I felt my nerves rising slightly. As if she knew exactly what I was thinking, Tatum gave my hand a reassuring squeeze. We shared a soft smile before walking onto the field together.
