Another long chapter here that I know you guys are going to love. ;)

Emily POV:
About an hour into the party and I was actually beginning to enjoy myself. The hesitations and worries that I had about running into Cam had completely decimated by now. Michael had assured me that he and all his frat brothers were on the lookout. If Cam has the balls to show up then she won't even make it through the front door.
"Girl you are absolutely glowing!" Sienna yelled over the music as she continued to shimmy and dance. I laughed as I copied her silly dance moves.
"I'm having fun!" I yelled back.
"Good! That was like the whole point of coming here!" Sienna said with a laugh. "Hey what time is Tatum coming?" She asked.
"Around 9ish. Let me check to see if she's texted." I replied as I reached into my sweater pocket to pull out my phone. I opened the messenger app but I didn't have to scroll far as Tatum's contact was pinned at the top. It's been pinned there ever since I met her back in my sophomore year of high school. No matter what we went through, breakup and all I never had the heart to remove her. It just never felt right.
"She's on her way now." I said with a smile before pushing my phone back into my pocket.
"Sooooo you finally going to pop the question?" Sienna asked.
"You make it sound like I'm asking her to marry me." I said with a laugh as I remembered when Tatum first asked me on a date all those years ago.
*Flash back*
"Just to put it out there, I would date you." Tatum stated. She then looked over at me with a nervous expression on her face as she bit her tongue. I couldn't stop the butterflies that filled me when she said that. I really like Tatum and I'm starting to realize that I like her as more than a friend.
This feeling is very new to me. I've never had a crush on a girl before. You would think that I would be nervous or scared but I've never felt as relaxed and safe as I do when I'm with Tatum.
"Oh really?" I teased in response as an attempt to hide my own giddiness. Tatum blushed hard and smiled as she lightly nudged my arm.
"Oh shut up." She laughed.
"Aw Tatum you're so cute when you blush." I continued to tease.
"Oh stop it. I take it back." She shrieked in embarrassment as she covered her face with her hands.
"Nope to late for that." I stated as I pulled her hands away from her face. Instead of letting go, I looked her in the eyes as I interlaced my fingers with hers and lowered our newly joined hands to our sides. "And I don't want you to take it back." I whispered with a smile and Tatum smiled back.
"So does that mean you'll go on a date with me?" Tatum asked hopefully as she swung our hands back and forth slightly.
"Technically I should ask if you'll go on a date with me since you can't drive." I pointed out.
"Okay so then you ask me." Tatum said with a laugh.
"Will you Tatum Reese, go on a date with me?" I asked with a smile.
"You made that sound like wedding vows." Tatum pointed out with a laugh.
"Oh shut up and just answer the question." I laughed.
"Yes, I Tatum Reese will go on a date with you, Emily Holloway." Tatum replied with a cheesy smile.
"Now you're making it sound like wedding vows." I said with a laugh.
