Tatum POV:
Around 11pm I finally arrived at home after a long day at the airport and on the plane. I was fully planning on crashing the second that my head hit the pillow but my phone rang. I groaned, angry that whoever was calling was interrupting me from going to sleep.
"Hello?" I said sleepily into the phone, not even bothering to see who had called.
"So you and Emily finally got back together." A voice aside from the other end. I could practically hear the cheeky smile in Hannah's voice.
"How'd you know?" I asked with a smile. No longer tired, I sat up in bed and leaned against the head board. Hannah is one of my best friends so the fact that she was the one calling made my anger dissipate instantly.
"Emily posted a video of you singing in the airport." Hannah said with a laugh. "And I assumed that if she was that close to you and hadn't killed you, then you must've gotten back together." Hannah explained.
"That's some pretty good detective skills." I said with a laugh. Hannah is pretty good at stuff like that. If you remember, she hacked my attendance back in high school so it comes as no surprise that she's a cyber security major now.
"I try." Hannah said with a laugh. "I'm happy for you."
"Thank you." I said with a smile. "So is that why you called me at this ungodly hour?" I asked jokingly.
"Part of the reason why." She admitted. "The other part is to tell you that I think it's time for you to show Emily the video." Hannah said, now in a more serious tone. I swallowed nervously before I spoke again.
"Are you sure?" I asked. There was a short pause and both ends of the line were quiet.
"Yes I'm sure. Not only does she need to see it, you need to finally show her that side of yourself." Hannah said.
"I have been showing that side of myself. I've been very open about my feelings lately." I replied.
"I'm sure you have, but nothing compares to the video. That video is you. No screens, no filters, no hesitations. Just all your raw emotions." Hannah explained.
"I know." I said with a sigh.
"So you're going to show it to her?" Hannah asked.
"Yes." I said. I then swallowed down the rest of my nerves. No more hiding myself or my feelings. "I'll show her the next time I see her."

Tatum POV:
Two days after landing back in Maine is when our families decided to have dinner. Mrs. Holloway insisted that we do it at her house despite my mom saying that she wanted to cook. The two agreed that Mrs. Holloway would host this time and we would host next week.
I picked out one of my nicest outfits for dinner. No we aren't going anywhere fancy but I still want to dress nice to impresses Emily. I decided on a pair of black dress pants, a short black crop top, and a tan jean jacket over it. To match the tan jacket I also picked out a pair of nice tan heeled boots.
Emily and I are the same height but when we go out, Emily is usually the one to wear heels so she always seems taller than me. Not today though. This time I'm wearing heels because I want to be the taller one. I'm assuming that since this dinner is in Emily's own house, she won't think to wear heels.
