UPON DISCOVERING Violet, Taissa and Van, the group wasted no time in hanging around.

There wasn't any time for questions. About what happened, or even about what Violet managed to... achieve. It held nowhere near the amount of importance that getting back to the cabin did.

The three of them were all in need of medical attention. Well, makeshift medical attention. And in Van's case, it was dire. Which meant that, for now, talking could wait.

So, pushing aside any looming exhaustion, the girls all did their part in hauling their no longer missing friends back to the cabin.

Most of them joined with carrying Van. The palmer girl could barely keep her eyes open, let alone put one foot in front of the other. She needed all the help she could get.

Laura Lee stayed by Taissa's side, one arm wrapped around her waist as she helped the girl keep upright.

Violet was being escorted by Lottie and Mari, each of her arms being slung over the girl's shoulders as they assisted her in limping back.

Much to her frustration, she couldn't walk with the pain she was experiencing, nor could she put any weight on her leg without it completely giving in from underneath her.

And much as it annoyed the Crawford girl, that she couldn't help with Van or Taissa, there was simply nothing she could do.

Now that her adrenaline was no longer at its full capacity like it was before, the injuries that had been sustained to her leg certainly became a lot more real. As did their severity.

Stupid wolf.

After what felt like hours, the group's journey back to the cabin had finally come to an end. All of them were quick to prepare what they needed to help Van, but not before laying her down on the table.
