The next morning, sunlight streamed through the window, gently waking Jin from his slumber. Yawning, he sat up in bed, still half-asleep, and hugged the pillow to his chest.
With his eyes closed, he shuffled out of bed, intending to make his way to the bathroom, only to be abruptly jolted awake as he bumped his head against the wall.
"What the hell!" Jin exclaimed, rubbing his head and glancing at the wall.
"Who put a wall here?" he muttered to himself, looking around in confusion, realizing he wasn't in his own room.
Accustomed to heading straight to his bathroom upon waking, he had forgotten the layout of this unfamiliar space. In his bedroom, the bathroom was positioned before his bed, but here, it was on the right side of the wall he had just collided with.
"Oh, goodness. I hope no one saw that, or I'll never live it down," Jin whispered, massaging his head as he grabbed a towel and hurried into the bathroom, nearly taking the pillow with him.
He tossed the pillow back onto the bed and quickly washed up, eager to put the embarrassing incident behind him.
"Hmm, so this is my first day of marriage, and I need to make that man's life a living hell. How should I do that? Should I kill myself, then become a ghost and haunt him?" Jin wondered aloud as he descended the stairs. "No, if I die, Jimin would be sad. So forget that plan. Let's think of something else."
Lost in thought, Jin finally took notice of the place he was walking around. His eyes widened at the grandeur and luxury of the mansion. Even the stairs he was descending looked extravagantly rich. He hadn't noticed it last night, too preoccupied with his own thoughts, but now he saw how vast the house was. A whole village could live here happily.
Does he live here alone? Or does he live with his family? What's the use of owning such a big mansion? Jin wondered, scratching his head as he walked down the hallway, only to find himself lost.
"W- where am i supposed to go now?" Jin muttered to himself, confused and feeling overwhelmed by the sheer size of the mansion.
Suddenly a delicious smell hit his nose making Him more cautious to walk further, with small steps and glancing around, he followed the tantalizing aroma of delicious food. Soon enough, he found himself in the kitchen.
"Good morning, Jeon Seok Jin," Jungkook greeted calmly, as soon as he felt a presence, his back turned as he busied himself with cooking.
A shiver ran down Jin's spine at the sound of Jungkook's voice. Why did his voice always give him goosebumps? Jin shook off the feeling and say,
"Good morning. I'm hungry. Can you feed me?" he requested casually."You want me to feed you?" Jungkook turned around, a small smirk playing on his lips as he scanned Jin from head to toe. Jin was dressed in a simple outfit, black jeans paired with a pink gucci t-shirt that he had bought with Jimin.
Realizing his choice of words wasn't ideal, Jin immediately shook his head, panicking. "No, I meant, can you give me food?"
"I see, although the idea of feeding you isn't bad either," Jungkook replied with a smirk.
"No, thanks, I can feed myself," Jin smiled faintly, rolling his eyes. Jungkook chuckled before serving their breakfast on the counter.
Jin's eyes widened at the sight and smell of the food. It looked and smelled so delicious that it made him feel dizzy.
"You cook terribly. It tastes disgusting," Jin mumbled between bites, sure his words were a lie, even a blind person can guess it.
"First, sit down," Jungkook instructed, sipping his coffee. Jin paused for a moment, staring at the chair. "Hmm... should I sit down... no, it would be best if I sit on the ground and eat like a beast, ruining his pristine white floor. He looks like a clean freak; he'll surely hate it. Yes, let's do it!" Jin wondered, smirking.
