As they drove back home in silence, Jin sighed dramatically, crossing his arms. "So... You’ve got all these cousins, famous ones, too... And I’m only meeting them now? You kept that hidden pretty well, Jeon."

Jungkook chuckled lightly, parking the car. "I wasn’t hiding anything, darling. You never asked." He turned off the engine and faced Jin, a soft smile tugging at his lips. "Plus, you’ve been too busy trying to ruin my life to notice."

Jin shot him a glare, though it lacked its usual bite. "As if. It’s not my fault you keep putting me in situations where I have no choice but to act... accordingly."

They got out of the car, walking toward the entrance of the house. Jungkook unlocked the door, holding it open for Jin, who entered with an air of annoyance. The house felt cooler, quieter than usual after the eventful night.

As Jin kicked off his shoes and stretched his arms, he muttered, "Anyway, this cousin of yours... Taehyung? He’s annoying. Tell him to stop flirting with Jimin."

Jungkook chuckled, locking the door behind them. "He’ll listen to you, not me. You’re the one he’s afraid of now."

Jin smirked, "As he should be." He paused for a second before adding in a more genuine tone, "But seriously... I don't like how close those girls were getting to you. It’s irritating."

Jungkook’s eyes softened, catching the slight vulnerability in Jin’s voice. He stepped closer, reaching out to gently brush Jin’s hair behind his ear, his touch lingering. "You know you’re the only one I see, right?"

Jin scoffed, though his heart skipped a beat. "Stop being cheesy." He quickly walked toward the living room to avoid letting Jungkook see the small blush creeping up his neck.

Jungkook smiled to himself, watching Jin disappear around the corner. He knew Jin’s sass was just a shield. He followed after him, deciding not to push further, at least for tonight. They both needed rest, but he was content with the small victory of knowing Jin’s jealousy had flared up.

Even if Jin didn’t realize it yet, he was falling deeper into the chaos that was their relationship. And Jungkook was more than willing to be patient.

Jin lay on the bed, sprawled out beneath the covers, glaring at the ceiling. He tried to sleep but his mind kept wandering back to the annoying sight of Jungkook sitting beside him, focused on his laptop. The soft glow from the screen illuminated Jungkook’s face, his brow furrowed in concentration, and those damn glasses... Jin hated to admit it, but the guy looked ridiculously hot.

He bit the inside of his cheek, feeling irritation bubble up inside him. Why does he always have to look so good when I’m trying to ignore him?

Jungkook, dressed in his usual luxury nightwear, was the picture of perfection—annoyingly so. His silky robe hung loosely over his toned body, and every now and then, he’d adjust his glasses, the simple act somehow making him look even more attractive. Jin’s eyes flicked over him, trying to find something—anything—to dislike, but all he found was more fuel for his inner frustration.

He rolled over dramatically, facing Jungkook. "Do you have to work now? Seriously?" Jin complained, his voice laced with irritation, hoping to stir up something.

Jungkook glanced down at him from above the laptop, his expression calm, but Jin could see the faintest hint of a smirk tugging at his lips. "I’m almost done, darling. Just some last-minute emails."

Emails, emails, emails. Jin scoffed and rolled his eyes. "You know, if you’re going to sit there and be so boring, at least let me have some fun."

Jungkook raised an eyebrow, intrigued but keeping his composure. "Fun, huh? And what kind of fun are you thinking of?"
