Seventeen-year-old Jeon Anya stood with her arms crossed, her sharp glare fixed on the trembling boy before her. Her sass and fiery confidence, traits inherited from her appa Jin, radiated in every word she spoke.

"How dare you bully my brother, huh? Do you have a death wish?" she growled, grabbing Taeil's collar, her eyes burning with fury.

"Anya... calm down. Don’t fight! If the teacher sees this, we’ll all get scolded," Kim Mira, her best friend and a year younger, whispered nervously as she glanced around for any authority figures.

Behind them, twelve-year-old Jaeyuk tugged at Anya's sleeve, trying to defuse the situation. "Noona, it's fine. Let him go," he said softly, not wanting her to get into trouble on his behalf. But he knew his sister well—listening to reason was never her strong suit.

"I'm not letting him go," Anya said firmly, her grip on Taeil's collar tightening.

The scene had started when Taeil, a classmate, decided to mock Jaeyuk for being quiet and reserved, assuming his aloof demeanor stemmed from his family's wealth and status. Jaeyuk, who rarely reacted to such taunts, had reluctantly told Anya about it, not realizing the storm he was unleashing.

"You better apologize to him right now," Anya demanded, her voice icy and unwavering. Protecting her little brother was her priority, and no one—absolutely no one—got away with hurting him.

Taeil stammered, his face pale. "I-I didn’t mean anything by it. I was just joking!"

"Joking?!" Anya’s eyes narrowed dangerously. "Do I look like someone who finds this funny? Apologize. Now."

Jaeyuk sighed, tugging at her arm again. "Noona, please. Just let him go."

But Mira chuckled nervously, muttering under her breath, "Once Anya's on a mission, there’s no stopping her."

Taeil, seeing no way out, quickly bowed his head. "I’m sorry! I won’t say anything like that again."

Anya finally let go of his collar, straightening her posture. "Good. And if I hear you’ve said even one word about my brother again, you’ll regret it."

As Taeil scrambled away, Mira let out a relieved breath. "Anya, you’re going to get us all expelled one day."

Anya smirked, brushing off her hands. "Let them try. Nobody messes with my family." She turned to Jaeyuk, ruffling his hair. "Don’t let anyone treat you like that, okay? You’re worth more than they’ll ever understand."

Jaeyuk nodded shyly, his cheeks flushed. "Thanks, noona."

Anya grinned, slinging an arm around him. "Anytime, little bro. Now, let’s go grab some ice cream. Fighting makes me hungry."

Anya had always been a brave and bold girl, filled with energy and sass from her childhood. Her confidence and quick wit made her a natural leader, while her younger brother, Jaeyuk, was the opposite—quiet, reserved, and shy. Despite their differences, the bond between them was unbreakable.

But even the fearless Anya had her limits, and one of them was standing before her now.

"How many times have I told you not to get physical with anyone, especially a guy?" Jin scolded, arms crossed as he stared his daughter down. His voice carried the authority that even Anya found hard to defy.

Jaeyuk and Jungkook sat quietly on the couch, wisely staying out of the discussion. Everyone in the house knew that when Jin and Anya clashed, it was best to avoid taking sides. After all, Jin and Anya were the ones who truly ruled the house.

"But, appa!" Anya protested, her tone defiant yet pleading. "He dared to bully my brother—my brother! Do you hear that? There's no way I'm letting him get away with it."
