Alone in his room, Jin let out silent sobs, his tears flowing freely as he sat on the floor with his back against the door.

He closed his eyes, trying to shut out the world around him, but the weight of his impending wedding hung heavily over him. Mrs. Kim's stern warning echoed in his mind, sending a shiver down his spine.

"Listen, day after tomorrow is your wedding. Don't you dare play dirty tricks. The result won't end good,"

her words reverberated in his ears as he hugged his knees tightly, trying to find solace in his own embrace.

Jin longed to cry out loud, to release the pent-up anguish and frustration, but he couldn't bring himself to make a sound.

He felt utterly alone, wishing he had someone to share his pain with, someone whose shoulder he could lean on. His best friend came to mind, but he didn't want to burden him with his troubles, especially since he didn't even have a phone to reach out to him.

"Can you guess it?" Jin's voice held a bitter edge as he spoke, his laughter tinged with sadness.

"My own so-called mom called me an ungrateful brat," he confessed, his words pouring out in a rush. "She wasn't wrong, ofcourse, But it still hurts."

Jimin sighed, his heart aching for his friend as he listened to Jin's painful revelation.

They were seated at a night club, the dim lights and pulsing music providing a backdrop to their conversation.

Jin laid bare the details of his miserable scene to Jimin, who listened attentively, nodding in understanding.

"So, she made you agree to the marriage?" Jimin asked, taking a small sip of his wine as he processed the information.

"Of course. My life ends here. My freedom, my happiness, everything ends. Now I'm going to be married off, do house chores, and raise kids. Guess what? I'm good at none of it. I wonder if that Great Great Jeon guy would burn me if I burned his house after cooking an egg,"

Jin remarked bitterly, his voice heavy with resignation.

"W-wait... what?" Jimin spluttered, taken aback by Jin's words, specially the name he said.

"You're marrying a Jeon... Mr. Jeon...? As if... The real one...Jeon Jungkook?!"

"Is there any Jeon around? I only know him because Mom talked about him, besides he sometimes comes on Instagram, his hot edits are famous with the 'Tadow' song, remember?"

Jin replied casually, taking another sip of his wine.

"Yes... but Jin! I'm sorry, but you really hit the jackpot! That man is like a Greek God! He's so fine and so damn fucking rich! A literal billionaire Jin, your life is set. I never knew Mrs. Kim could do something so good for you,"

Jimin exclaimed, trying to inject some levity into the situation.

"Jimin, I'm not in the mood to joke," Jin's voice was somber, his sadness palpable.

"I'm sorry, baby. We can think of ideas. How about we make a plan to call off the wedding? I can come up with plans so that you can run away from the wedding and no one would bother you too much," Jimin suggested earnestly.

"Good. Yes, think fast!" Jin said determinedly, a flicker of hope igniting in his eyes.

"Okay, for now, let's enjoy. It's a day for my bestie to be married,"
Jimin grinned, trying to lift Jin's spirits.
