The next day, Jin stayed in the living room, working on a school project, though he couldn’t focus well. He’d called Jimin to tag along for company, and he was on his way. Jungkook had already gone out to work, and Jin couldn’t attend class; his whole body was sore as if he’d gone through a rigorous workout.
As he stared at his project, Jin realized just how much he’d been skipping classes lately. Now he felt like an alien trying to understand a foreign language in his textbooks. Annoyed, he sighed, knowing he should focus—but his mind kept replaying last night’s events, making his cheeks turn pink.
"What the hell… I feel like a newborn baby who knows nothing," Jin mumbled to himself, laughing shyly. "What will my future kids think of me?" His hand unconsciously went to his stomach, wondering about the future, though there wasn’t a baby yet. But the thought filled him with excitement.
Just then, the door opened, and Jimin strolled in, taking in the sight of Jin surrounded by an impressive spread of snacks. "Ah, Jin, what’s all this? You’re having a feast without me?" Jimin exclaimed, looking amused.
Jin looked up and grinned, spreading his arms wide. "Jiminie…! I missed you!"
Jimin plopped down beside him on the couch, grabbing a bag of chips. "You look too comfy. So… did my plan work?" He gave Jin a mischievous smile, wiggling his eyebrows. "I’m sure JK liked it a lot, right? Come on, tell me everything! What did he do? What did he say?"
Jin pouted, trying to hide his shy smile. "Well, you can see my state… I can barely move. I’m so sore… He’s an absolute beast," he admitted, crossing his arms with a dramatic sigh.
Jimin’s eyes widened, and he burst out laughing. "Oh, really? Looks like I underestimated him. My poor Jinie." He patted Jin’s shoulder, clearly delighted. "I knew you’d have fun, but I didn’t expect JK to be that intense!"
Jin playfully nudged him. "Stop laughing! I have no idea how I’m supposed to finish this project. My brain’s all over the place."
"Come on, I’ll help you out," Jimin said, still grinning as he opened one of Jin’s books. "But only if you tell me everything later, deal?"
Jin laughed, rolling his eyes. "Deal… but don’t tease me too much!"
As they worked on the project, Jimin looked around, taking in the impressive collection of books scattered around the room. "You’ve got all the books here. Nice setup."
Jin grinned proudly. "I know. My hubby brings me anything and everything I ask for," he said, a hint of smugness in his voice.
Jimin pouted, crossing his arms. "I know he spoils you rotten. Seriously, I really need someone like that for myself."
Jin smirked, leaning back. "Well, well… after this project, why don’t we go husband-hunting for you? Although whoever they are, they’ll have to fight me first." He crossed his arms in mock seriousness.
Jimin chuckled but then gave him a sly look. "Yeah… but it’d be perfect if it were him, you know…"
Jin rolled his eyes, immediately catching on. "Oh, please, not him."
"Why not?" Jimin teased, clearly entertained. "He’s handsome, he’s amazing… Jin, he’s literally the world’s most handsome guy!"
Jin let out a sigh. "I still don’t get why you like him. I don’t like him."
Jimin hesitated for a moment, then leaned forward, looking serious. "Jin… there’s actually a secret I haven’t told you."
Jin squinted suspiciously, grabbing a pillow. "Wait, don’t think I’ve forgotten that you and my idiot hubby teamed up on that stupid plan!" He playfully swatted Jimin with the pillow, making him yelp.
