"You know what's even greater about having a husband?" Jin exclaimed happily, digging into the food. "He cooks such amazing dishes!"

Jhope chuckled. "Well, of course he does. Didn't he hire the country’s top chef just to learn cooking for you?"

Jin choked on his food, eyes widening in surprise. "He did... what?" He quickly turned to Jungkook, who sat beside him, casually eating as if nothing was out of the ordinary.

Jin stared at his plate, feeling a warmth spread in his chest. So many little things Jungkook had done for him... and he hadn’t even realized. He swallowed, glancing over at Jungkook, who gave him a small, knowing smile.

"Why didn't you ever tell me?" Jin asked softly, his voice filled with a mix of wonder and gratitude.

Jungkook shrugged with a gentle smile. "I didn't do it for the praise... I did it because I wanted to make you eat as much as you want, only my cooking foods, Also it was long time ago. Now I can cook myself. You know I am an expert."

"Yeah, yeah."

As they ate, the room was filled with warmth—laughter and chatter floating around the table. Jongyoong ate slowly, savoring the moment, watching the lively scene he had always dreamed of. A proper family... after so many years, it was finally here.

He glanced at Jin, who was talking non-stop, animatedly waving his hands as he blabbered on about something funny that had happened. Jungkook, with a soft smile, leaned in every now and then to wipe a bit of sauce from Jin’s cheek or to gently clean the mess he made.

Jongyoong's gaze shifted to his son, Yoongi, sitting beside Jhope. They were deep in conversation, laughter spilling out as they reminisced about old times. The sight of them—so comfortable and happy together—made Jongyoong’s heart swell.

He wondered how he had ever overlooked the importance of these moments, how he had allowed pride and stubbornness to cloud his vision. Now, with everything laid bare before him, he realized how precious these connections were.

This warmth, this laughter, this feeling of belonging—it was everything he had longed for, and he was determined to hold onto it tightly.

With a soft smile, Jongyoong knew he wouldn’t let anything threaten this newfound happiness. He felt his heart swelling with pride and gratitude for these precious moments he never thought he’d get to see.

It was more than he could have asked for.

“Movie night!” Jin exclaimed, his excitement contagious.

“Yes!” Jhope nodded enthusiastically, practically bouncing in his seat. They had just finished eating, and the group was buzzing with energy as they prepared to settle in for a cozy evening.

Namjoon and Jongyoong started playfully arguing over which movie to watch, their voices overlapping in friendly banter.

“Uhm, I think I have a meeting to attend,” Jungkook began, trying to slip away unnoticed.

“Yes, me too… A client to check,” Yoongi added, glancing at his phone as if he could escape the impending movie night.

“Dad, please.” Jin’s voice cut through the noise, his eyes serious. The intensity of his gaze made Yoongi reconsider, and he quickly nodded, sinking back down into his seat. “Client can wait.”

Jungkook, however, remained wary. Maybe he can just slip away.....

“Do I need to give you a separate invitation?” Jin’s eyes bore into him, dangerous and unwavering. Jungkook felt a chill run down his spine, realizing he had no choice but to comply.
