"Now, what's for breakfast?" Jin exclaimed as he entered the kitchen, feeling the warm, lively atmosphere. He loved it—and so did Jongyoong, who cherished the change from his usually quiet, solitary mornings.
"Good morning, Grandpa," Jin greeted softly, giving Jongyoong a warm hug. Jongyoong, seated at the table, smiled and patted Jin's back.
"Good morning to you too. How did you sleep?"
"Amazingly!" Jin giggled, then turned to Yoongi, who was busy cooking alongside Jungkook. "Good morning, Dad."
"Good morning, son," Yoongi replied with a smile.
Jin happily took a seat beside Hoseok, hugging his arm. "How did you sleep?"
"Like a baby," Hoseok laughed, squeezing Jin’s hand.
"Where’s my brother?" Jin asked, looking around.
"In the kitchen, causing chaos," Jungkook grumbled, setting down a plate with a very burnt omelet. "Darling, can you please tell him to get out of my kitchen?"
Jin, Hoseok, and Jongyoong looked at the charred omelet in silence before bursting into laughter.
"Oh my, what did this poor omelet do to deserve such a fate?" Hoseok teased.
"Namjoon-hyung, were you getting revenge on it for something?" Jin asked, laughing as Namjoon scratched his head sheepishly.
"Cooking just… isn’t my thing," Namjoon admitted with a shrug, laughing along with the others.
“Hyung, I think it’s best if you just enjoy breakfast and leave the cooking to the experts.” Jin said, laughing.
"Yes, please!" Jungkook glared.
Namjoon scratched the back of his head sheepishly. “Cooking really isn’t my thing... but I thought I’d give it a try for once,” he said, shrugging as everyone burst into laughter again.
Jin grinned, wrapping his arms around Hoseok’s as they both watched Jungkook take control of the stove, quickly flipping a fresh omelet with ease.
“See, my hubby knows what he’s doing,” Jin teased, sending Jungkook a proud smile.
Jongyoong, watching the lively scene, felt his heart warm. This was everything he had hoped for—a family, laughter filling the air, and Jin’s happiness shining brightly. He patted Jin’s hand gently.
“It’s wonderful to see all of you like this. Makes this house feel like a real home.”
Jin smiled at him warmly, resting his head on Hoseok’s shoulder. “Well, Grandpa, you’ve got us now… we’re here to fill this place with love and laughter every day.”

.After a warm family breakfast together, Jungkook quickly began getting ready for work, fixing his shirt and pulling on his jacket in a hurry. Jin watched him with a fond smile before stepping over to help with his tie, an unspoken part of their morning routine.
Jin’s fingers deftly tied the knot, and once he was done, he leaned up and placed a gentle kiss on Jungkook’s lips. “No need to rush,” Jin murmured softly, smoothing out Jungkook’s collar. “Relax, okay? I’m not going anywhere. I’ll stay right here.”
Jungkook sighed, clearly reassured by Jin’s words, but he pulled him closer anyway, nuzzling his face into Jin’s neck. “You better stay,” he murmured, his voice slightly muffled. “I’m not just asking you not to go anywhere… just call me if you need anything, alright?”
Jin chuckled softly, nodding as he ran his fingers gently through Jungkook’s hair. “Alright, I promise. Now go—you don’t want to be late,” he said, giving him a light push toward the door.
