Jin smiled, feeling an unexpected comfort around Namjoon as he watched the man drive, though there was tension in his movements.
"What’s wrong? You look troubled," Jin asked, his voice soft with concern.
Before Namjoon could answer, the car jolted roughly. Jin's eyes widened as he saw five cars surrounding them, and a much larger vehicle blocked their path ahead.
His heart skipped a beat when he saw Jungkook emerge from the car. Kicking the door open, Jungkook stepped out with both hands in his pockets, his face dark with a chilling aura that Jin had never seen before. It sent a shiver down his spine.
Jin’s gaze then caught sight of a black helicopter circling above, confirming just how far Jungkook’s power and influence could reach. It all came rushing back—he’d almost forgotten the true extent of his husband’s power.
Fearing the worst—Jungkook pulling out something extreme like guns or tanks—Jin quickly got out of the car.
"Ju-Jungkook..." Jin stammered, his heart racing.
"Come here," Jungkook’s voice was cold, frosty, and dangerous, sending waves of anxiety through Jin. He gulped, his feet frozen.
Namjoon stepped out as well, raising his hands in a gesture of surrender. "JK, calm down. Nothing happened to him," Namjoon tried to reason.
But Jungkook’s eyes never left Jin, his fiery gaze demanding his presence. Jin gulped again, quickly running to Jungkook's side.
"H-hubby, calm down! I’m fine, see?" Jin turned in a circle, trying to show he was unhurt, his voice trembling slightly.
Jungkook's eyes scanned Jin from head to toe, ensuring there wasn’t a single scratch on him, but the icy fury didn’t fade. He shifted his glare to Namjoon, his voice laced with a cold, dangerous edge that made Jin shiver.
"Stay away from him. This won’t happen twice," Jungkook warned, his tone dripping with threat, before grabbing Jin’s wrist and dragging him to the car.
Namjoon stood still, frozen in place as he watched Jungkook, Jin, and the convoy of cars and the helicopter disappear into the distance. Only when they were fully gone did Namjoon exhale deeply, finally able to breathe again.

Jin fidgeted with his hands, glancing nervously at Jungkook, who was driving with a clenched jaw, his face hard and unyielding. The veins in Jungkook's arms were visibly tense, showing just how furious and worried he was. Jin couldn't help but feel a mixture of excitement and happiness, knowing how much Jungkook cared.
"Jungkook, calm down. I’m fine. You really went all out... literal cars and a helicopter? I was just here, no one was trying to kidnap me and sell me off," Jin laughed awkwardly, trying to lighten the mood. But his words didn’t seem to have any effect on Jungkook, who remained silent and stiff.
Jin sighed and placed his hand gently on Jungkook’s thigh, caressing it softly.
"Calm down, hubby. Can you not be so... cold and hard like this?" Jin whispered, hoping his touch would ease the tension.
But instead of responding verbally, Jungkook's free hand moved to clasp Jin's hand tightly, intertwining their fingers together. Jin flinched slightly at the intensity, but the firm grip reassured him in a strange way. Jungkook was still upset, but this gesture showed that despite his anger, he wasn’t letting go of Jin. Not now, not ever.
Reaching home, Jin closed the door behind him, watching as Jungkook sat down on the couch, struggling to untie his tie. Without hesitation, Jin ran over and casually sat on Jungkook's lap, gently taking over the task of untying it.
