Jin sat there, holding the cake box tightly, watching Jungkook work with a soft smile. He didn’t even open the box; he just observed Jungkook’s focused expressions, feeling his own heart fluttering.

After several minutes, Jungkook finally closed his laptop, and with a satisfied smile, he leaned down and placed a soft kiss on Jin’s leg. "Let's go home now," he murmured as he gently moved Jin's legs down, helping him stand up.

Jin blinked, his cheeks warming slightly as he nodded, "Okay." He gave Jungkook a sweet smile, but before he could fully process it, Jungkook leaned in, capturing his lips in a soft, quick kiss.

Jin’s breath caught, a small smile spreading as they pulled back. "You’re always sneaking kisses," he muttered playfully.

Jungkook grinned, lacing his fingers with Jin's, "When it’s with you, I don’t think I could ever stop."

"Now, where is it?" Jungkook threw off his shoes and dashed to the kitchen the moment they reached home, leaving Jin standing there, amazed and slightly in disbelief.

"Hey..." Jin barely got the word out before Jungkook had already swung open the double-door fridge.

"You made chocolate-covered strawberries too?" Jungkook exclaimed, pulling out both the cake and strawberries, his eyes sparkling as if he'd just uncovered the world's greatest culinary treasures.

Jin folded his arms, pouting as he watched Jungkook examine them. "Can you stop overreacting so much... It's nothing to be proud or happy about! The cake looks ugly; it's even a bit burnt. Useless me didn’t even know how to frost it properly."

Jungkook looked up, grinning. "Ugly? Are you kidding? This is the best cake I’ve ever seen." He set the cake down carefully, then picked up one of the strawberries, examining it like it was priceless. "You made these just for me... that means everything."

Jin rolled his eyes but couldn’t help smiling softly, the hint of a blush coloring his cheeks. "You’re impossible, you know that?"

Jungkook just leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to Jin's forehead. "Maybe, but only because of you."

"Now, let me have a taste," Jungkook said, quickly grabbing a spoon and taking a bite. Jin eagerly watched, waiting for his reaction, only to see Jungkook squeal happily.

"It's so good, darling! You’re the best."

"Really?" Jin asked, surprised.

"Yes, the best cake I've ever had," Jungkook replied, licking the spoon clean, clearly loving it.

Jin blinked, amazed. "Really? Let me have a taste."

"Oh, no, no need. I'll finish it all," Jungkook said, playfully trying to keep the cake to himself.

"Nope! I’m eating, just a bit." Jin dabbed at Jungkook's spoon and took a bite of the cake. Immediately, he grimaced. "Yah... i-it's not..." Jin coughed slightly. "It has that burnt flavor... How are you eating it? It tastes horrible." He pouted.

"Is that so? But it tastes good to me," Jungkook replied, genuinely confused.

Jin squinted at him, amused. "You’re really that in love with me, aren’t you? You’d even eat burnt cake."

Jungkook grinned, wrapping an arm around Jin. "If you made it, I’d eat it every day."

"Seriously," Jin sighed, shaking his head, though he couldn’t hide his smile.

"I can’t help it," Jungkook said, holding Jin's hand. "Believe me, it really is good. I can taste the sweetness of all the time and love you put into making it for me, and that alone makes me the happiest. Even with a little burnt flavor, it still tastes perfect to me because you tried… and that means everything."
