That day marked the beginning of Jin's descent into darkness. Happiness became a distant memory as grief and pain consumed him. To cope, Jin turned to destructive behaviors, finding solace in the release of breaking things or the temporary distraction of eating.

He remembered that fateful night when Namjoon left him.

Alone in his room, Jin sat on the floor at a corner, alone with his hand stopped bleeding by then, no one treated his hand, no one even cared about him, if his Joonie hyung was here, he would've treated his wounds,

Jin sat there, hugging his knees with a bowl of rice, as he digged into big amounts of rice inside his mouth. its bland taste a stark contrast to the turmoil raging within him.

Eating became a means of stifling his sobs, a way to muffle his cries and hide his pain from his mother and father's anger and disapproving gaze. He knew they'd beat him more if he cries loudly,

From then on, Jin's habits of emotional eating and breaking things became regular, he'd muffle his emotions, pain, sadness or even happiness by breaking things, happiness never came to him since that dayx so it only worked on sadness,

He knew his brother was a clumsy one who'd break off things, now doing the same made him remember his brother more.

Jin vividly remembered the darkness that shrouded his childhood, where loneliness and neglect were his constant companions.

Yet, amidst the shadows, there was always one beacon of light: his beloved Joonie hyung. Namjoon's unwavering love and attention had been Jin's lifeline, sustaining him through the darkest of times which was given by his own so-called parents,

Namjoon would always stay beside him, help him with his studies, play with him, treat his wounds and try his best to make Jin stronger, he was so caring to Jin and even feed him when their parents failed to do so.

His parents would always forget about his existence, to give him food or any other support which his hyung would do it for him, but after Namjoon left, he was ahain surrounded eith darkness.

He even forgot how happiness felt.

But it wasn't until he was fifteen that Jin encountered another source of solace: a short guy with pink hair, Jin remember his first words clearly.

Even in school time too. He was alone and neglected by all, anyone would hardly look at him except for the pink hair.

"Hello, I am Jimin; You are Jin, Right? Wow, You are me without the 'im'. Isn't that cool?"

That simple line with that angelic smile reminded Jin of his Joonie hyung mkre. Jin knew, it was his hyung who sended a pure angle in his terrible dark life.

With a radiant smile that mirrored Namjoon's kindness and smile, Jimin welcomed Jin into his life, offering him a shoulder to cry on and a reason to smile amidst the turmoil of his home.

For eight years, Jimin remained Jin's rock, providing unwavering support and companionship.

With Jimin by his side, Jin felt like he could weather any storm, even the relentless abuse inflicted upon him by his parents.

With Jimin, Jin again found happiness, he learned to find happiness in little things.

However, Jin's newfound happiness was shattered when Jimin fell victim to the harassment of a stranger, an unknown man who dared to threaten the one person Jin held dear above all else.
