Jin stood still, clad in his husband's oversized white shirt, watching Jungkook hurriedly prepare breakfast in the kitchen. The sight was oddly domestic and endearing, but he couldn't shake the feeling that Jungkook was going to be late.
"I told you it’s fine. You don’t need to make breakfast for me. You’re already late for work; you should just go," Jin said, crossing his arms in a mock display of stubbornness.
Jungkook turned to him, a playful glint in his eyes. "I don’t want to leave without making sure my darling has eaten," he replied, plating a generous portion of pancakes, eggs, and fruit. "And I definitely don’t want my darling eating food from anyone else's hands but mine."
Jin’s heart fluttered at the affection behind Jungkook's words. "You’re really spoiling me rotten, you know that? I’m not a child who needs to be fed every morning," he said, trying to sound dismissive, but the warmth spreading in his chest betrayed him.
Jungkook chuckled, a soft sound that sent a wave of comfort through Jin. "You may not be a child, but you are my darling. And I want to take care of you, no matter how busy my day gets. Besides, I love making breakfast for you."
With a sigh, Jin uncrossed his arms, unable to resist the smile creeping onto his face. "You really are relentless, aren’t you?"
"Just a little," Jungkook replied with a wink. He placed a plate in front of Jin and sat across from him, his gaze unwavering.
"Now eat up. I want to see you finish every bite, or I’ll be worried all day."Jin rolled his eyes playfully but felt a rush of gratitude. "Okay, okay. But only because you made it." He picked up his fork, feeling cherished in this small moment.
As he began to eat, Jungkook leaned back in his chair, watching him with a satisfied smile. "See? Isn’t this better than whatever you’d find on the go?"
Jin nodded, savoring the first bite. "You might be right about that. This is really good."
"Of course, it is! Everything I make is made with love," Jungkook replied, puffing out his chest in mock pride.
"Yeah, yeah," Jin said, shaking his head, but inside he felt the warmth of Jungkook's love wrap around him like a comforting blanket. In these small moments, everything felt right.
"I'm full. You can go now," Jin said, pushing his plate away with a satisfied smile.
Jungkook grinned, leaning down to capture Jin's lips in a deep kiss. It was tender and possessive, a reminder of how much he cared. "Okay then, I will go. But take care, hmm? And don't roam around wearing just this," he said, his hands rubbing Jin's bare thigh playfully.
"Why not?" Jin asked between kisses, his heart racing at the closeness.
"I don't want anyone to see you like this," Jungkook replied, his tone serious but laced with a hint of teasing. He pulled back slightly, his gaze burning into Jin's.
"No one will. I am alone in this castle, Mister," Jin shot back, enjoying the playful banter. The way Jungkook looked at him made him feel like the only person in the world, but he couldn't resist pushing back a little.
"That's exactly my point," Jungkook countered, his thumb brushing over Jin's thigh, sending shivers up his spine. "You’re too beautiful to be seen in just a shirt. You’re mine, and I want to make sure you're safe and seen only by me."
Jin felt his cheeks flush, a mix of embarrassment and affection swirling within him. "Fine, I’ll throw on some pants before I walk around. But you can’t blame me for being comfortable."
Jungkook smirked, tilting his head slightly. "I guess I can let that slide… for now. But don’t think I won’t keep an eye on you. Just because I’m leaving doesn’t mean I won’t worry about you."
