As Taehyung began to explain the painting, his voice carried a mix of passion and knowledge. Jimin listened intently, his eyes never leaving Taehyung's face, absorbing every word.
"The painting," Taehyung explained, "represents the journey of self-discovery. The fragmented pieces symbolize the different aspects of one's personality that come together over time to form a complete whole. The artist intended it to evoke a sense of both confusion and enlightenment, reflecting the complexities of finding oneself."
Jimin's admiration for Taehyung grew with each word. "That's... amazing. I never would have guessed. Thank you so much for explaining."
Taehyung nodded, his eyes twinkling with genuine interest. "I'm glad you found it interesting. It's always nice to meet someone who appreciates art on a deeper level."
Jimin nodded, mesmerized by the art as he stared at it while Taehyung stared at him.
"You know," Taehyung said with a playful grin, "I think you have a wonderful taste in art. It's not every day I meet someone who is so cute and pretty like a art, appreciates another wonderful art so deeply."
Jimin, his face turning a shade of red, fumbled with his words. "T-thank you, Taehyung. I... I really like your work too."
Before Taehyung could respond further, Jin, who had been frantically searching for Jimin, spotted him engaged in conversation with the global actor. His eyes narrowed as he saw Taehyung's flirtatious demeanor.
Without a second thought, Jin rushed over, his expression a mix of irritation and protectiveness.
As he approached, he dramatically threw himself between Jimin and Taehyung, shielding his best friend with an exaggerated flourish.
"Hey, what's going on here?" Jin's tone was sharp, his eyes flashing with a mix of sass and concern. "Jimin, are you okay? Is he making you uncomfortable?"
Jimin blinked in surprise, not expecting Jin's sudden and over-the-top intervention. "Jin, it's not like that..."
Taehyung, taken aback by Jin's protective stance, raised an eyebrow. "Whoa, relax. I was just having a friendly chat with him here."
Jin turned to Taehyung with a defiant glare. "Friendly chat? More like making my bestie uncomfortable. We're leaving."
"B- but Jin..."
"Don't but me." Jin said, glaring at Taehyung who stood with his hands in his pockets, his charming smile directed at Jimin, who was shyly hiding behind Jin, Jin couldn't help but notice the similarity in Taehyung's smile. He couldn't help but think it kinda matches with his so called husband Jungkook's. Both smiles had that same disarming warmth and subtle edge.
Just then, Jungkook arrived, his eyes scanning the room until they landed on Jin and Taehyung.
Taehyung, spotting Jungkook, immediately greeted him with enthusiasm. "Cousin, you're here! I was just looking for you when I stumbled upon this interesting sassy cutie."
Jungkook's expression darkened slightly, his gaze shifting to Jin. "That's my husband," he said, his tone firm and possessive. He looked pointedly at Jin, who huffed in anger.
Taehyung's eyes widened in surprise as he turned back to Jungkook, covering his mouth with a hand to stifle his laughter. "No way! Really? He's exactly like you said-so bold and filled with sass. Damn, my brother-in-law is in the right hands. I thought you were exaggerating when you said you're in your husband's pinky finger, but now I see you weren't kidding."
Jungkook's gaze softened slightly, though a small smirk played on his lips. He reached out, gently placing a hand on Jin's shoulder, his touch conveying a mixture of affection and possessiveness. "Well, Taehyung, I didn't exaggerate. My darling has a way of making every situation interesting."
