Jin's mind was in a whirlwind as he followed Jungkook around the store, picking out products. Despite his initial plan to annoy Jungkook, he couldn't help but feel a strange warmth growing inside him. Jungkook's unwavering support and generosity were breaking down the walls Jin had built around his heart.
"Noooo! That's not the plan! Don't fall for him." Jin slap his face, and shook his head.
As they left the store with bags of cosmetics, Jin glanced at Jungkook, a mix of emotions swirling in his eyes. "You really are something else," he muttered.
Jungkook chuckled and wrapped an arm around Jin's shoulders. "And you, darling, are worth every bit of it."
Jin's heart skipped a beat at Jungkook's words. Maybe, just maybe, there was more to this marriage than he had initially thought. No wait! I THOUGHT NOTHING.
"Let's think. How to annoy him!" Jin thoughts only got disturbed when his stomach growled as he silently left Jungkook behind, deciding to test how he would react if left alone. He wandered through the mall and found a food court filled with various stalls offering delicious-smelling dishes.
He bought an assortment of foods, burgers, sushi, pastries, and more, without a second thought, indulging his cravings.
However, when it came time to pay, Jin reached into his pockets and realized he had no money with him. He wanted to annoy Jungkook and waste his money for which he himself bought not even a single penny.
Jin gulped as the shop employees began to look annoyed.
"Sir, you need to pay for these," one of them said sternly.
Jin stammered, "I, uh, I forgot my wallet..."
The employees exchanged frustrated glances, and the manager approached, looking even more displeased. "If you can't pay, we'll have to take the food back."
"What? No... I am hungry."
"If you're hungry then pay."
"I don't have money."
"Then no foods. Please, return the foods and leave." The employee said, as he tried to take the snacks from Jin who immediately back away like a child holding his favorite toy before anyone cod touch it.
"I am not giving it."
"Please sir. Don't waste out time. We have more customers to serve. If you don't do as we say, we might have ro take another step which you may dislike."
Jin wasn't one to get scared so easily. He stood ahead, tall and was about to talk and fight back.
Just then, a hush fell over the entire shop as suddenly Jungkook arrived, his presence commanding immediate attention. The employees and manager all bowed their heads, recognizing him instantly.
Jungkook gave them a cold glare before gently looking at Jin. "Darling, i was looking for you. You got snacks. Good. Do you need anything more?" he asked calmly.
Jin, flustered and embarrassed, shook his head. "N-no, this is enough."
Jungkook smiled and paid for the food without another word, his demeanor making it clear he wouldn't tolerate any disrespect towards Jin. He then helped Jin carry the bags of food, his touch gentle and reassuring.
Jin confusedly followed him, his mind racing. As they walked out of the shop, he couldn't help but notice how the entire staff kept their heads bowed, showing immense respect and even fear towards Jungkook. This man really had a lot of power, and it was evident in how everyone reacted to his presence.
When they were outside, Jungkook turned to Jin, his expression softening. "You should have told me you were getting food. I would have come with you."
Jin nodded, still processing what had just happened. "I... I just wanted to see how you'd react if I left you alone."
Jungkook chuckled softly. "Well, now you know. You don't have to worry about anything when you're with me."
Jin's heart felt conflicted. He had tried to test Jungkook, but once again, Jungkook's actions only showcased his unwavering support and care. The way Jungkook handled the situation, with a mix of authority and tenderness, left Jin feeling a mix of awe and confusion.
As they made their way back on the luxurious car, Jin couldn't help but wonder about this man who seemed to have everything but was focused solely on making him happy. Maybe there was more to Jungkook than just his wealth and power. And he wondered why.
Jin's mind raced as he sat in the luxurious car of his so-called husband, Jungkook, surrounded by the assortment of food they had just bought. He stared out the window, lost in thought. He couldn't help but wonder about this man who seemed to have everything but was focused solely on making him happy. Maybe there was more to Jungkook than just his wealth and power. And he wondered why.
He is so rich...and has so much power, yet he is after me. Why?
Then it hit him. Hahhh! I know!
Jin's eyes widened as the realization dawned on him.
Yesss! How couldn't i see it before?
It's all an act, just to annoy me. He's doing this all so that I forget what he did to my bestie. Nope, never, Jeon Jungkook. You aren't ever making me stop hating you. Hump!
Jin was too busy thinking and grumbling to himself while eating to notice Jungkook's smile as he drove. The atmosphere in the car was filled with the delicious aroma of the food, Jin was too busy in this thoughts and his foods Which is all that matters to him.
Jungkook glanced over at Jin, catching sight of his pouting expression and the determined glint in his eyes. A small smile played on Jungkook's lips, a mix of amusement and affection. I wonder what's going on that cute brian of his.
As they drove on, Jungkook's gaze returned to the road, but his mind lingered on Jin. Well, it wasn't new. His mind had always been filled with Jin, even since he met him...that day to till now.
Meanwhile, Jin continued to stew in his thoughts, biting into a piece of sushi.
He thinks he can win me with money and power, huh?
Jin glanced at Jungkook from the corner of his eye, only to find him focused on the road with that same gentle smile on his face.
What's he smiling about?
What's so funny?
Jin wondered, feeling a mix of frustration and confusion.
No matter what he does, I won't forget. I will never forgive him for what he did to my Jimin. My baby needs justice and only i can give him that.
Yet, deep down, a small part of Jin couldn't help but feel a sliver of doubt. He shook his head, trying to clear his mind.
NO! Don't think like that! Stop it! I need to stay strong! Focus, Jin!
Jungkook's voice broke through Jin's thoughts. "Enjoying the food, darling?"
Jin snapped out of his reverie and gave a curt nod. "Yeah, it is fine."
Jungkook's smile widened slightly, and he reached over to gently squeeze Jin's hand. "Good. There's plenty more where that came from."
Jin pulled his hand away, his resolve hardening. "Well, whatever. Don't touch me."
"Why not? We are married, honey."
"Yeah, stop with those nick names, too." Jin huffed, munching his foods loudly to see if it could annoy Jungkook but no, the man had that gentle yet endearing and eye catching, beautiful smile on, annoying Jin even more.
No matter what, I won't let him get to me. I have to remember why I hate him.
I must always hate him!!!
