"Darling, are you mad at me?" Jungkook asked softly, his voice filled with concern. "It's not fair, though. I should be the one to be mad since you were doing everything I hate today. But baby, it was your first time. So, I'll let it go this once, but if you repeat this again, I won't."
"Aghhhh nahhhhh! No, I won't listen to you! You can't control me, bastard! I hate you!" Jin shouted in frustration, fist-bumping the car desk while squirming right and left.
"Darling, calm down," Jungkook urged gently.
"I won't!" Jin yelled. "You are annoying. I won't ever talk to you."
"Darling, I'm sorry. Forgive me. I won't do anything like that again, really," Jungkook pleaded.
"Hump!" Jin pouted. "I am hungry!"
"Sure, let's go home. I'll cook for you. Anything you like," Jungkook replied, driving faster. Jin rolled his eyes and looked out of the window. "I want to drink something hm... I want a strawberry milkshake," Jin suddenly demanded. "Now!"
"Okay," Jungkook nodded and accelerated towards a café. He swiftly went inside and returned with two cold strawberry milkshakes. Jin's face lit up with joy as he eagerly grabbed one and started drinking.
"Darling, you don't have a phone, right?" Jungkook suddenly asked while driving.
"Oh... yes... um, I lost it," Jin awkwardly admitted, feeling a bit embarrassed remembering how he threw his phone out of a car.
"I need to know where my husband stays and with whom, so to contact you, a phone is necessary. Grab it and keep it with you," Jungkook said abruptly, still not taking his eyes off the road as he handed a brand new smartphone box to Jin.
"What the hell! I don't need your phone! I can buy myself one," Jin said, looking away. He felt his ego bruised. Why did this man continue to buy him things when he didn't even ask for them? Did he think Jin was incapable of buying things himself? Though that was true still... Was he looking down on him?
"Baby, it's wrong if you think that I'm buying you things to hurt your ego. That's totally wrong. I can buy anything for my husband. You must take it, like a simple gift from your husband," Jungkook said calmly, trying to explain things.
"Still, I don't need it."
"Then what am I supposed to do with it?"
"I don't know, throw it," Jin said casually, anger flashing in his eyes before he snatched the phone and threw it out of the car. His eyes widened in realization of his actions as he looked outside of the car.
"What the hell! Why didn't you stop me? I- I really threw it off... God, no!" Jin exclaimed in anger. Jungkook didn't show much expression and simply shrugged it off.
"H- how much was its price?" Jin asked, feeling immensely guilty for destroying an innocent new phone.
"$1200, I guess," Jungkook replied casually.
"What?!" Jin exclaimed loudly, unable to believe his ears. Jungkook shrugged indifferently, the sum not seeming like a big deal to him, Jungkook wondered if it was big for his husband.
For Jin, the amount was far more than he had imagined. How could a phone cost so much, and how could he throw it away just like that? He could happily eat for a whole week with that money.
Seeing Jin tense up, Jungkook chuckled and remarked, "darling, you need to get used to your husband's richness."
"Fuck you!" Jin muttered under his breath, feeling guilty for wasting so much money by throwing the phone. An awkward silence filled the car, only interrupted by the sound of Jin sipping his milkshake, until Jungkook suddenly spoke up.
