Jin sprawled out lazily on the couch, legs resting on the table in front of him, trying to distract himself with the TV. The volume was loud enough to possibly annoy Jungkook, but as always, the man seemed unfazed, moving around the apartment calmly as he prepared to leave for work.
Jungkook glanced at Jin while buttoning his suit jacket. "You're not going to school today?" he asked, his voice casual but curious.
"Nope," Jin replied lazily, texting Jimin to make sure he got home safely and checking if Taehyung had dared to misbehave.
Jungkook nodded, but his gaze lingered, making Jin feel a strange shiver run down his spine. He shifted uncomfortably, eyes narrowing as he asked, "What? Why are you looking at me like that?"
Jungkook’s expression remained unreadable, though his voice dropped to a low, almost teasing tone. "Nothing... I was just expecting the impossible."
Jin raised an eyebrow, intrigued despite himself. "Expecting what?"
"What married couples do when the husband leaves for work," Jungkook replied smoothly, his eyes never leaving Jin’s face.
Jin frowned, not catching on immediately. "And what’s that?"
Jungkook’s lips curled into a faint smile. "A goodbye kiss." His words were so straightforward, so calm, yet they sent heat rushing to Jin’s face.
"W-what? No way!" Jin sputtered, face going red as he shot up from his lazy position on the couch. "You think just because we’re married, I’ll do those things? Never! I don’t understand what's with you. At first, you’d kiss me without asking, but now… you’re asking for permission? Why?"
Jungkook’s expression softened, his voice sincere as he responded, "I just don’t want you to feel uncomfortable. Especially around me. That’s the last thing I want."
Jin’s heart skipped a beat at the unexpected tenderness in his words, though he refused to show it. Crossing his arms, he huffed, "Well, whatever. Still no." He said it rudely, but inside, his heart was racing. No one had ever cared so much about his comfort before. It was disarming.
Jungkook nodded, though Jin noticed the slight flicker of disappointment in his eyes as he turned to leave. A strange pang of guilt tugged at Jin’s chest, and before he could stop himself, the words slipped out.
"Okay, fine."
Jungkook froze in his tracks, his head whipping around to stare at Jin in surprise. "Huh?" he asked, disbelief clear in his voice.
Jin rolled his eyes, feeling his cheeks burn even more. "I said fine. But don’t go overboard, or I swear I’ll kick you." His tone was gruff, but Jungkook could hear the underlying nervousness.
Jungkook's eyes lit up in surprise, his hand pausing on the doorknob as he turned to face Jin. "Did I hear that right?" His voice was playful, but there was a genuine gleam of excitement in his eyes.
Jin, feeling his face heat up again, crossed his arms defensively and looked away. "I said fine, but don't make me regret it," he grumbled, the last part barely audible as his embarrassment made his voice quieter.
Without wasting a second, Jungkook crossed the room smoothly, approaching Jin with a confident, almost teasing smile. Jin's heart raced as Jungkook leaned in, but to his surprise, Jungkook didn't just dive in for a kiss like he usually would have in the past. Instead, he hesitated for a moment, his face only inches from Jin's, as if waiting for some kind of permission.
Jin's chest tightened. "Why does he have to be so... considerate now? He hated to admit that it made him feel something—something he wasn't used to feeling. Reluctantly, Jin closed his eyes, bracing himself as if the world was about to explode.
And then, Jungkook kissed him.
It was soft, almost feather-light, just a brief press of lips, as if Jungkook was holding back on purpose. Jin's heart skipped a beat, and he hated how his body reacted—how it felt... good. He quickly opened his eyes, glaring at Jungkook.
"See, that wasn’t so bad, was it?" Jungkook murmured, still close enough for Jin to feel his breath.
Jin swatted at him, pushing him back slightly. "You—you’re so annoying," he muttered, cheeks burning as he tried to regain his composure.
Jungkook chuckled, standing up straight but still looking down at Jin with those affectionate eyes that Jin was starting to get all too familiar with. "I'll take that as a 'thank you,'" he said, winking before turning to leave. But he stopped. "Can I do it one more time?" He asked, softly.
Jin casually thought what could possibly go wrong with another kiss. So he lazily nodded. He didn't failed to notice the sparkle in Jungkook's eyes.
"Do it fast!"
Jin sat up straighter as Jungkook approached closely again, expecting the same quick, harmless kiss. But Jungkook leaned in slowly, his hand gently brushing against Jin’s cheek before he tilted Jin’s face up just slightly. The kiss wasn’t soft or brief this time—it was intense, deliberate, and far too intimate for what Jin was prepared for.Jungkook's lips pressed against his with a searing heat, slow yet demanding, like he was savoring every second of it. Jin’s breath hitched, his mind going blank as the kiss deepened, the world fading away around him. Jungkook’s hand slid to the back of Jin’s neck, keeping him in place as if he never wanted to let go, and Jin’s heart raced uncontrollably.
Then, just as quickly as it began, it was over. Jungkook pulled away with a satisfied smile, his lips barely brushing Jin’s ear as he whispered, "Have a good day, darling." His voice was smooth and calm, like nothing out of the ordinary had happened, leaving Jin completely stunned.
Jungkook turned, casually adjusting his suit as he walked out the door, while Jin sat frozen on the couch, his heart pounding in his chest, his body practically burning with the aftermath of the kiss. He blinked, trying to process what had just happened, his fingers ghosting over his lips as if he could still feel Jungkook there.
"What the hell was that..." Jin muttered to himself, his face flushing deeply. He grabbed the remote and threw it across the couch in frustration. He couldn't believe it—he was almost turned on by a kiss!
"This is ridiculous!" he growled, running a hand through his hair in frustration. Yet no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't shake the way his heart raced or the way his body reacted to Jungkook’s touch. And worst of all, a part of him hated to admit that he silently craved more.
"Ahh, he needs to be punished," he muttered to himself, a spark of mischief lighting up his eyes. He grabbed his phone and began scrolling, determined to find something—anything—that could be used against his annoyingly perfect husband. His so-called husband was widely known. So it was easy to find things in internet about him.
After a few minutes of intense searching, he gasped, nearly dropping his phone.
"He’s allergic to mango?!"
Jin whispered, his mind racing with possibilities. The ideas formed into a deliciously wicked plan as he giggled to himself, plotting the perfect way to annoy Jungkook upon his return.
