“This doesn’t look good,” Jin said, his hands dramatically resting on his hips as he examined a stroller on display.
“I think it does. Jin, can you stop being so… spoiled?” Namjoon groaned, rubbing his temples.
“I’m not spoiled! I’m just stating facts,” Jin replied, flipping his hair dramatically. “I think I’d like it in pink. Hurry, go look for pink…” He pointed toward the other side of the store, his tone commanding.
“Ah, not again…” Namjoon slapped his forehead, while Jimin bit back a laugh.
“Yah! You guys aren’t listening!” Jin huffed, crossing his arms. “Hyung! Jimin! Hurry, or I’ll make a scene.”
The mall, bustling with chatter and footsteps, suddenly seemed quieter in comparison to Jin’s loud demands. At four months pregnant, Jin was walking ahead of Namjoon and Jimin like a queen leading her royal entourage. His hand rested dramatically on his small but growing baby bump, his every step oozing confidence.
Namjoon sighed. “Why did I agree to come with him?”
“Because you’re a good brother,” Jimin snickered. “And because Jungkook probably bribed you.”
Jin stopped suddenly, gasping as his eyes locked on the display window of an expensive boutique. “I need that pink diamond-studded clutch. It’ll match the baby shower theme perfectly!”
Namjoon groaned louder this time. “Jinnie, the baby isn’t even born yet! And I’m pretty sure they won’t care about your clutch.”
“Yeah,” Jimin added, pushing a cart overflowing with baby items. “Not to mention, you’ve already got enough clutches to open a museum.”
“It’s not about the clutches, it’s about aesthetic,” Jin replied, looking scandalized. “And it’s not ‘enough,’ Jimin. Seven is hardly a collection.”
Before either of them could respond, Jin whipped out his phone and dialed. Namjoon’s eyes widened in alarm. “Wait, you’re not calling—”
“Hubby…!” Jin cooed into the phone, cutting Namjoon off. “Yes, I’m fine, but I just saw something perfect for the baby shower, and your brother-in-law and Jimin are being mean to me... They’re denying your pregnant husband’s happiness.” Jin sniffled for dramatic effect, loud enough for the two culprits to hear.
Namjoon groaned. Jimin, on the other hand, was struggling not to collapse with laughter.
On the other end, Jungkook’s voice softened immediately, despite the fact Jin had interrupted an important meeting. “Of course, darling. They're mean. Let them talk; they don’t matter. You just focus on getting whatever catches your eye. Make sure it’s the best, the most expensive, and of the finest quality, because my precious husband and our future baby deserve nothing less than perfection in both quality and quantity.”
Jin beamed, his smile triumphant. “Thank you, hubby. Love you so much!” He ended the call and turned to his brother and friend with a smirk. “And that’s how it’s done. Now, let’s go! We have more shopping to do.”
Namjoon sighed. “This Jungkook… he’s spoiling you too much.”
“And he loves it,” Jimin quipped. “I’ve never seen a man so happy to be bossed around.”
Jin ignored them, leading the way into the boutique. Moments later, he spotted a pastel stroller. “Oh my gosh, this one is perfect!”
Jimin peeked at the price tag and nearly choked. “Jin, this stroller costs more than my car!”
Jin shrugged, unbothered. “So? My baby deserves only the best.”
“If you keep this up, Jungkook’s going to need to buy a separate mansion just to store all this stuff,” Namjoon muttered.
