'Dany? Is everything all right? What does the message say?' Aegon was worried about his beloved. Cregan was worried too, but he knew what the note said. Daenys suddenly stood up with a jolt and headed for the window. There she looked outside. 'My brother, my little brother. He was still so boyish.' Aegon also got up at that moment and walked to Daenys. 'What happened? What happened to your brother?' With tears in her eyes, Daenys turned to her husband and looked him in the eye. 'My mum didn't listen to me. Luke, he...' She couldn't finish the sentence as she was already crying bitterly. Aegon didn't know exactly what she was trying to tell him at that moment and turned to Cregan, taking Daenys in his arms. 'Cregan, you've read the note, what does it say?' 'Luke was killed by your younger brother over the God's Eye. Jace managed to escape, but Luke and his dragon were killed by Vhagar.' 'No, that... Oh my god. Dany.' Aegon was speechless, he didn't know what to say. What should he do now?Daenys straightened up and looked at both men with a determined look. 'We'll stick to our plan, but if Aemond gets too close to me, I'll destroy him. He has my little brother on his conscience, and I will never forgive him. As I was always told: The North never forgets! I grew up here, the North is a part of me. I will never forget this!' Cregan saw the silver dragon of the North standing before him at that moment and he would follow her to his death.
Aegon did not want to go to King's Landing, but he knew that he could most likely achieve the most there to help Daenys. So Aegon said goodbye to Daenys and Cregan and mounted Sunfyre's back and flew towards King's Landing.
Daenys stood near her dragons and looked at them. What should she do now? She didn't want anything to happen to the three of them. 'Eny? You know that the entire North stands united behind you. We would follow you to our deaths too.' 'I know, Cregan, but I would never expect that of you or the others. Cregan, I need to get back to Dragonstone. Be ready for when my mother decides to go to war.' 'We'll be ready. Take care of yourself.' They both hugged once more before Daenys climbed onto Meraxes back and her dragons took off to fly towards Dragonstone.
When they arrived at Dragonstone, Daenys walked straight to her mother. 'The North is on our side.' 'That's good news.' Daenys walked slowly towards her mother. Neither of them said a word. Rhaenyra took her eldest child in her arms. 'I'm so sorry, Daenys. I should have listened to you.' Daenys realised how broken her mother looked. 'Mum, we should still give him a funeral. We owe him that.' So it was that Rhaenyra, Daenys, Jace, Joffrey, Rhaena and Baela stood together in front of a burning pile, and each placed something of Luke's in the fire. It was their way of saying goodbye to Luke. None of them had any idea what Daemon was planning.
That evening, Daenys sat in her room and thought about everything that had happened over the last few days. A knock snapped Daenys out of her thoughts. 'Come in.' The door opened and Jace stepped in. 'Can I sit with you?' 'Of course, come here.' Jace sat down next to his sister. 'What happened isn't your fault.' 'But it seems that way to me. Luke was my little brother too and it's my job to protect him. I couldn't and I ran away. Who does that?' 'Luke was our little brother, but he would never have wanted you to risk your life like that. You wouldn't have stood a chance against Vhagar.' Daenys tried to reassure Jace as best she could.
The night was a more or less sleepless one for Daenys. What she didn't realise at the time was that Daemon had set something in motion that wasn't exactly beneficial.

Two small questions for you:
- What's going to happen to Seasmoke?
- Is Daenys already expecting a child (or maybe twins)?
I look forward to your ideas and suggestions.
