Helaena and Aegon were sitting together in the library, studying a map of Essos. "What do you think? Should we try here and then move west?" "That would be a good idea, Aegon. But what should we do if we meet the same resistance?" "That's a good question. We should wait until Daenys returns. I think she'll have an idea." "That's right." Aegon looked thoughtfully at his sister. "Do you think there might be something to Qoren's idea?" "The Silver Dragon will meet its counterpart." Aegon just nodded. He wondered what she meant by that. Silver Dragon meets its counterpart. Could she mean Meraxes? But who would the counterpart be?

At the other end of Sunspear, Rhaenys stood and looked at the dragons. "Princess Rhaenys, something is on your mind. What's going on?" Rhaenys turned to the voice. "Prince Qoren. I am very worried about Daenys." "I understand that, but from what I have learned about Daenys, I firmly believe that we are heading towards a golden future. She will do anything." Rhaenys had to agree with him. She was also certain that with Daenys the war would end.

Jace wandered through the streets of Sunspear and felt free for the first time in his life. Free from any duty imposed on him by his mother. Free from any prejudice. He took a closer look at the shops and stalls in the streets and also talked to the people. His path led him to the city wall and from there he had a good view of the desert. He did not notice that Aegon was walking towards him. "It is beautiful here." Surprised, he turned to him. "Aegon." "I wanted to apologize for everything I said and did. A facade that I have tried to maintain, but since I met Daenys, I no longer want to." "She can do a lot and has an incredible talent when it comes to other people. I just wish Luke could have been here too." "Aemond will pay for it. You can be sure of that. He has no chance against Daenys and her dragons." "Prince Qoren's idea. Could another dragon really live in Old Valyria?" "We'll have to wait until Daenys comes back. Daenys has a magical aura around her. If there's supposed to be a dragon there, she'll find it." Aegon and Jace talked for a while. They talked about the past and what they regretted.

Rhaenys stood next to Meleys to see how her she-dragon was doing. "I'm very glad you're better. I'm so grateful to Daenys. My girl." Meleys nudged Rhaenys lightly with her head. Vermithor, who was lying next to her, suddenly stood up and took off. Silverwing followed him. The two were gone. Jace, Aegon and Helaena came running a few minutes later. "Rhaenys, what's going on?" "Silverwing and Vermithor just flew away." The four looked at each other, perplexed. "Something must be wrong. Did Daenys call them? But she's so far away." "I think we can only wait. Let's hope everything is OK."

In Old Valyria, Daenys walked around cluelessly. Meraxes was always close to her. A feeling made her stop. Something was here. Her curiosity was aroused. She kept walking and noticed that Vermithor and Silverwing were now here too. Something was here and she would find out what. She continued her way. What it must have looked like here in its heyday. Daenys could imagine that it must have been beautiful here. Meraxes, Vermithor and Silverwing flew a little forward and stopped in the air. Daenys was now sure that there must be something up ahead. But what?

She walked slowly and carefully there, without making a noise. When she arrived at the place, she saw people. Suddenly someone was standing next to her. "We have been waiting for you." Surprised, she looked at the person in front of her. "Waiting for me? I don't know you. Who are you?" "We are the dragon riders. A group of warriors who are fireproof. Only the true king or queen can command us." "How do you know that I am this person?" "This is simple, but we will explain it to you later. Come." Daenys followed the person and was excited to see what would happen next.
