Daenys had finally arrived at Dragonstone and was now standing in front of her family. A day she had been longing for. The first person to approach Daenys was her mother, Rhaenyra. 'Muña, I'm finally here.' 'Yes, I can't quite believe it yet and I'm afraid that when I close my eyes, you'll disappear and this was just a dream. 'It's all very real.' Mother and daughter lay in each other's arms until a clearing of the throat split them apart. 'I would also like to take my daughter in my arms.' 'Kepa.' Was all Daenys managed to get out before he pulled her into a hug. After a while, that hug turned into a big group cuddle.  'But that's enough now. I'm sure your sister would like to hand over her dragons to the Dragonkeepers first and then go to her room to recover from the long flight.' 'Regarding the dragons.... Meraxes and Silverwing will find a place where they can both fit, and Vermithor will join them. The Dragonkeepers don't need to worry about the three of them.' 'All right, we can't force dragons anyway. Come on I'll show you your room. '

Rhaenyra walked with Daenys into the castle and towards the room where Daenys would sleep. They didn't talk much on the way to the room. Once in the room, they both sat down on the bed and Daenys told her mother about the journey from Winterfell to Dragonstone.

'My little zaldrīzes, I'm so proud of you and incredibly happy to have you here with me now. I'll write to my father tomorrow to tell him you're here at Dragonstone because he wants to come and meet you.' 'Really? I'm curious to see what he's like. I'll write a letter to Cregan and Grandmother in a moment so that they both know I've arrived safely.' 'Do that, my little . I'll see you tomorrow. Sleep well.' With a kiss on the forehead, Rhaenyra said goodbye to her daughter for the evening. Daenys herself sat down at the table in the room and began to write the two letters.

A few weeks passed and Daenys settled in more and more. She spent as much time as possible with her siblings, her parents and her dragons. Together with her brothers Jace and Luke, she often trained with her sword, played with Joff, Aegon and Viserys or read to the three of them. Rhaena, Baela and Daenys quickly became close friends and often talked about all sorts of things. Daenys now had a close pen friendship with Cregan. Her grandmother and Meleys also came to Dragonstone a few days after Daenys' arrival to welcome her home. Her grandfather Viserys had also announced his arrival in the coming days.

'Everything is ready. My father will be here soon. Are you excited, Daenys?'  'Muña, I think the only person here who is excited or nervous is you. I'm just curious to see what kind of man he is.'  The conversation between mother and daughter was interrupted by the opening of the door.

'Princess, the king's ship has docked at the harbour. He will be here shortly.' 'Thank you, Ser Darklyn.'

After a few moments, the door opened again, and King Viserys stepped through.

'Rhaenyra, my child. It is good to see you and you must be my granddaughter Daenys.' 'That's me, your majesty. It is a pleasure to meet you.' 'Not so formal. We are family. Let me look at you.' 'Father, Daenys I will leave you two alone to get to know each other.' With these words, Rhaenyra left the room to give them both a chance to get to know each other.

'Tell me a bit about yourself, Daenys.' 'Mh... I was named after Daenys the Dreamer and grew up in the north with Lord Stark and his family. I learnt a lot about the history of our house and Westeros. Septa Ona gave me lessons in High Valyrian. I speak the language fluently. I am good with various weapons and can defend myself very well. Lord Stark gave me a Direwolf and his son, who is now Lord of Winterfell, is like a big brother to me.' 'That all sounds very good.' Daenys and Viserys went for a walk through the meadows of Dragonstone. However, she did not introduce him to her dragons, as she did not know to what extent she could trust him or his companions.

Viserys and his companions stayed for a few days before the king returned to King's Landing. So, Rhaenyra, Daenys and the rest of the family stood at the harbour of Dragonstone to see King Viserys off.

'It was nice to see you all again and to meet you, dear Daenys. I hope to see you again soon.' With these words, the king said goodbye and boarded the ship, which departed for King's Landing.

The family stood still for a while when another ship caught Jace's eye. 'Mum, there's another ship up ahead. Who could that be?' 'I have no idea, Jace. Let's wait and see.' The ship drew closer and closer to the harbour until it docked. At that moment, Daenys screamed with joy, earning her confused looks from her family.

'Septa Ona, Shadow!' Daenys exclaimed happily and ran to the ship. The moment she stood in front of the ship, her beloved Direwolf came running from it. 'Oh, my Shadow. You're here at last.' Daenys snuggled into the Direwolf's soft fur. He barked happily and waited eagerly for the other three. Meraxes, Silverwing and Vermithor also became aware of the new arrivals when he barked and moved close to the harbour. When Shadow saw the three dragons, he ran towards them and Daenys followed.

Now all five were together again!
