Daenys turned round to the Master again briefly. 'What did the tests show?' 'You're pregnant, my princess.' Daenys stood there, her eyes widening in shock. It couldn't be. Not now. Not at this time. Daenys had too many thoughts running through her head. One thought took up residence in her head. What if the same thing happened to her child as Helaena's? Daenys didn't have time to think about it and ran straight out of the room and outside with Jace. Prince Qoren was already waiting for them with Rhaenys. 'Up ahead. We don't know who the two dragons might be because they're still too far away.' Daenys looked in the direction the two dragons were coming from. But it wasn't Essos.

'Jace, you're coming with me. Rhaenys you and Meleys will act as back-up. Only intervene when necessary. Prince Qoren, though I hate to say it, please make Scorpion ready. Should Jace, Rhaenys and I fail, Scorpion shall be the last resort.' Everyone nodded their heads and Prince Qoren was already shouting instructions to his men. At that moment, Prince Qoren thought that this young princess would be the queen he would follow to his death. Daenys, Jace and Rhaenys ran together to the dragons. 'Daenys, don't you want me to stay with Rhaenys?' Daenys could see the fear in Jace's eyes and wondered what she should do now. She took another deep breath and exhaled. 'Okay. Jace, you and Rhaenys will be my back-up. I'll fly there with Vermithor.' Arriving by the dragons, Daenys climbed onto Vermithor's back. Vermithor lifted off the ground with a powerful push and flew in the direction of the other two dragons.

Jace and Rhaenys also climbed onto the backs of their respective dragons and waited. Meanwhile, Vermithor flew towards the other two dragons with steady wing beats. The closer she got, the more she recognised the two dragons. 'Aegon, Helaena!' Daenys shouted as loud as she could. Aegon and Helaena heard Daenys and both turned their heads in her direction. Vermithor was now at their level. 'What's going on? Everyone's scared.' 'We're sorry. We didn't mean to scare anyone, but we've had the feeling of being followed ever since we left Essos and stopped here in mid-air.' 'Helaena is right. Someone is following us, but we don't see anyone.' 'Let's fly back together, if someone has been following you, they won't stand a chance here.'

Together, the three dragons landed with the others. 'Daenys, Aegon and Helaena. Oh, it's good to know that no one is attacking us.' 'We don't know that for sure yet, Grandmother. Someone has been following Aegon and Helaena from Essos and hasn't shown themselves yet.' 'I understand. Let's go back to Sunspear first and talk to Prince Qoren. The protection of Dorne must be increased. How did it go in Essos anyway?' 'Well, we were able to take part of Essos for ourselves, but before we could move on, there were some problems. We wanted to talk to you about that.' Daenys nodded and turned briefly to Vermithor, who was standing behind her. 'Thank you, big guy.' She then turned back to the others. 'We'll talk about this later, too. For now, let's go back.'

Back in Dorne, Rhaenys walked with Jace straight to Prince Qoren, as this was what Daenys, Rhaenys and Jace had discussed. Helaena walked to one of the masters, as she wanted to find out more about the rest of Essos. Aegon and Daenys walked to their room and wanted to talk in private. Once in the room, Daenys threw her arms around Aegon's neck, and they kissed passionately. They then sat down on the bed to talk to each other.

'Aegon, what happened in Essos?' 'We were attacked by several men, but thanks to my sword training I was able to fend off many and protect Lena, but there were so many. Lena pulled me back a bit and screamed Dracarys. Dreamfyre and Seasmoke then bathed the remaining men in their fire. But what caught our eye was that these men were carrying symbols that I had once seen on my grandfather. We assume that he has something to do with it. That's why we came back, because we suspect that Aemond and my grandfather have found out where I am.' 'Let them come if they want. We'll stop them.' Aegon smiled lovingly at his beloved, glad to finally be with her again.

'Aegon, I have something I need to tell you too.' For whatever reason, Daenys found it incredibly difficult to get the words past her lips. 'Whatever it is, just say it.' Daenys took another deep breath and then looked deep into Aegon's eyes. 'Aegon, I'm pregnant.'

Aegon jumped off the bed and Daenys couldn't see his face.
