Daenys took a good look at the surroundings. 'Silverwing, my girl, stay here and try not to make a fuss. If I'm in danger, I'll call you.' Daenys squeezed Silverwing's muzzle and made her way towards the other two dragons. The closer she got, the more familiar the second dragon seemed to her. Sunfyre! Aegon accompanied Helaena.

'Dina, or should I say Daenys?' 'If you're waiting for an apology, you can wait a long time. I'm not going to apologise for protecting myself when I don't know the person in front of me.' 'I didn't say anything.' Aegon and Daenys both looked at each other until Helaena spoke up.

'Hello Daenys, I'm Helaena. Thank you for coming, even if it did sound a bit cryptic.' Helaena turned to Aegon. 'Could you please leave us alone?' 'If I have to. I'll wait over by Sunfyre and Dreamfyre.' Aegon walked over to the two waiting dragons. Helaena and Daenys sat down on a stone nearby.

'He told me about you, or rather about Dina. I think he's blown away. He's a better person than he's made out to be. Our mum wanted Aegon and I to get married, but as you already know, I see visions of the future and that's not where I saw him and me. So I tried everything to prevent a wedding between us. It worked.' 'Wow. You meant you wanted to find out what I had to do with your vision.' 'Oh yes, that's right. Why don't we go for a walk and have a chat?'

Daenys and Helaena walked around the ruined castle and talked about all sorts of things. Helaena kept trying to make Aegon the topic of conversation. Daenys kept trying to shrug it off with a smile. They both talked about their respective childhoods, about their siblings and about their families in general. Helaena and Daenys laughed a lot together.

Aegon, who was watching the two of them from a distance, suddenly felt an unfamiliar feeling when he saw Daenys.

'It was nice to meet you. I think it will help me to understand these visions better and I'm glad to have a new friend.' 'I agree with you on that. I would love to hear about these visions one day.' Daenys and Helaena said goodbye to each other and Daenys waited until Helaena went back to her dragon and Aegon. As Daenys watched her go, Daenys and Aegon's eyes met. Daenys noticed a strange feeling coming over her and thought about Aegon's appearance. He seemed different from the first time they had met.

After Helaena and Aegon left on their dragons, Daenys walked over to Silverwing, who was already standing up and shaking. 'Let's fly home. Vermithor, Meraxes and Shadow are probably already waiting for us.' Daenys climbed onto Silverwing's back and she took off.

When she arrived at Dragonstone, her mother was already waiting for her. 'Daenys, I need your opinion on something. Would you please accompany me to the castle?' 'Of course. Is everything all right?' Without answering, they both walked back into the castle. 'I'm afraid something is brewing in King's Landing that I can't stop. I don't want to expose you to this danger either. What do you think?' 'You need a spy on the ground to brief you on what's going on in King's Landing. As for me, don't worry. I can defend myself very well. But Muña, you might also need to think about what to do about Dorne or the Free Cities. If it does come to a war between us and the Hightowers, you'll need enough allies.' 'That's right. I'll think of something. I'll organise it directly with the spy. Hopefully I'll get some clarity. Thank you, my zaldrīzes.'

After this conversation with her mother, Daenys went to the training ground to do a bit of training. Despite her young age, she could already bring full-grown men to their knees in battle. Some time passed, during which she trained with a wide variety of weapons. After her training session, Daenys headed to her room because she had to pack a few things to take with her to Driftmark.

The next day she would set off for Driftmark to visit her grandmother and grandfather.

Should Daenys set off for Dorne or the Free Cities soon and 'conquer' them for her mother?
