“Y/n, you should not contact me.” Luna exclaimed.
“But I don't know what to do?” Y/n said.
“Didn't something happen?” Luna asked. Luna's tone turned serious. "Did he find out?"
Y/n hesitated, unsure how much to reveal. "Just.. And now I don't know how to face Jungkook. He fell for me because I was doing what you said.”
Luna's voice softened. "You don't need to call me again, Y/n. Just act the way you want.”
But Y/n's anxiety spiked. "No, Luna! If you don't tell me how to act in front of Jungkook, I'll mess up. I don't want to lose him."
Luna's laughter was gentle. "Y/n, honey, you don't need to act like anything. Just be yourself. He will still love you."
"Really?"
Luna's voice was firm. "Yes, really. Jungkook loves you for who you are, not for some pretend version of yourself. Just relax and be honest with him. Oh I forgot to ask, what else do you want? You solved just a huge problem for me.”
“What do I want?” She asked.
“Yeah, I had fired you from work but I arranged for you with another company. You can tell me how much money you need.” she said.
“No, just job replacement is enough. And I have Jungkook. I don't need anything else.” Y/n replied.
“Of course, you can just get money out of Jungkook now.” Luna said.
Y/n found that weird, she shook her head. “No, you were married to him for 5 years. By now you must already know what type of person he is. I am glad to just have him.”
Luna smiled. “Yes, but he is still a man who cheated on his wife. So don't fly too high, it might hurt.” __
Taehyung's brow furrowed "Luna, why did you fire Y/n?" Taehyung asked, his tone curious.
Luna's expression turned icy. "Of course, I had to. Why would I keep my ex-husband's mistress on the job?"
Taehyung chuckled. He was not expecting Luna to do that and make Jungkook the bad guy.
He nodded thoughtfully. "That makes sense. But she was really good at her work. I actually need an assistant right now, mine is on leave after his wife gave birth."
Luna raised an eyebrow. "You want to hire Y/n?"
Taehyung shrugged. "Why not? She's qualified and available. It's just temporary, until my assistant returns."
Luna hesitated, then nodded. "Alright, but just for a few months. And I warn you, Taehyung, Y/n is...different. She's very quiet, almost withdrawn. I'm not sure how she'll fit in with your...lively world."
Taehyung chuckled. "I can handle ‘quiet’. I can't handle someone who doesn't shut up.”
"I'll send her to your office tomorrow morning.” ___
