“I am so glad that he agreed for us to date!” Y/n said excitedly. Every moment she spends with Taehyung, she feels so happy. She has never roamed around the city this freely and now she gets to walk around with him.
“What would you have done if he didn't agree?” Taehyung asked. She looked at him.
“I would have convinced him but I would never leave you.” She held his face and kissed his cheeks. If they weren't in public she would have kissed his lips.
She looked at the station. “Are we taking the subway? The driver is in the area, I can text him to-”
“Y/n, I'll bring you out. So let me show you the world I live in.” He exclaimed. She nodded her head. She hates public transportation because of the crowd.
Y/n's eyes darted nervously around the crowded subway, her heart racing with every bump. But Taehyung's arms wrapped tightly around her, shielding her from the crush of strangers.
She didn't even realize in the past how she was afraid of strangers. These people seem to be in their busy world, yet she was afraid of unwanted touches or leering gazes.
Taehyung could feel her trembling. He was expecting Jungkook to give her a normal life. But now Jungkook has turned her into someone who is scared to live in the real world.
As they exited the subway, Y/n's anxiety spiked. She hadn't expected Taehyung to bring her to this part of town. The streets were lined with crumbling buildings, neon signs flashing like fireflies in the fading light.
It wasn't the place she grew up in as that is not in Seoul. But this place has a similar vibe.
“W-hat is this place?” She asked. He reads her face, her face is as if he has brought her to another world. “Why do you live in such an area? This place is,”
How do people live in such an area?
“Because I can only afford living here.” He replied. She looked at him surprised.
“I didn't mean to come out mean or- I am sorry.”
Taehyung chuckled. “Relaxed, I know you have never been to such an area.”
She was born much worse. This place is relatively better.
Taehyung's hand enveloped hers, his fingers intertwining with hers as he led her through the alleys.
She wanted to run away. But she doesn't want to run away from Taehyung. She never wants to run away from him. Why doesn't she even love him so much? That even if her mind was giving her the worst scenario possible, she wanted to trust him
It was a world away from the sterile luxury she has become accustomed to.
The air was different too, so different from the world Jungkook created for her.
