The weeks blurred together as filming wrapped up. Each day brought us closer to the big reveal at Comic-Con, where the Jupiter character would finally be announced to the world. It was strange, having spent the better part of a year working on something so secretive, only to know that soon, everyone would know.

"Can you believe it?" Brie said, standing next to me in the makeup trailer. "Comic-Con's around the corner. Feels like we've been waiting forever."

I nodded, running my hands through my hair as the stylist finished trimming it up for the day's scenes. "Yeah, it's surreal. I've been so focused on getting through these last scenes, I haven't really had time to think about it."

Brie smirked, watching me through the mirror. "Well, better get ready. Because once they announce Jupiter, it's gonna get wild."

I laughed softly. "I'm ready for it. I think."

She raised an eyebrow. "You think?"

"I mean... yeah. It's just a lot, you know? Everything's been moving so fast since I got back. Between Florence, filming, getting my life back on track... it's been a lot."

Brie gave a knowing nod. "Yeah, I get that. But hey, you've handled worse. This is just the fun part now."

I grinned. "Yeah, 'fun' is one way to put it."

With makeup done, I headed to the wardrobe trailer. Melissa Vargas, the costume designer, was waiting with my suit for today's scene. It was the standard Jupiter getup—black, fitted, with silver details that hinted at the character's godlike strength.

"Looking good, Thomas," Melissa said as she handed me the suit.

"Thanks," I replied, slipping it on and adjusting the tight fabric. "You ready for all the chaos at Comic-Con?"

She laughed. "As ready as I'll ever be. I think the fans are going to lose their minds when they see you as Jupiter."

I gave her a small smile. "Let's hope so."

The rest of the day was spent on set, filming fight sequences and some final character scenes for the film. Sam Elliott, the seasoned actor playing the villain, Pantheons, stood across from me, his grizzled face set in determination as we ran through our lines.

"Alright, boys," Taika called out, clapping his hands. "This is the last big fight scene between Jupiter and Pantheons, so make it count. Remember, you're both gods—so we want that intensity, but also the sense of deep history between you."

I nodded, taking a deep breath as I locked eyes with Sam.

"Ready for this, kid?" Sam asked, his voice gravelly but kind.

"Ready as I'll ever be."

The cameras rolled, and for a few moments, I was no longer Thomas Johansson I was Jupiter, locked in a battle that would decide the fate of the world. Every punch, every move, was carefully choreographed, but the emotions were real. The intensity of the scene bled into the way I fought, every blow carrying the weight of everything I'd been through, both on screen and off.

By the time Taika called cut, I was out of breath, my chest heaving as I stood there, sweat pouring down my face. Sam clapped me on the back, grinning.

"That was some good work, kid."

"Thanks," I panted, wiping the sweat from my brow. "Same to you."

Brie walked over, still in her Captain Marvel costume, giving me a thumbs up. "You killed it."

I smiled, the adrenaline still pumping through me. "Felt good."

As the day drew to a close, Taika gathered the cast and crew for a quick meeting.

"Alright, everyone. That's a wrap for today. We've got a few more scenes to film, but I want to remind you all that next week is Comic-Con. We'll be flying out Thursday, and the panel is Friday. It's going to be huge."

There was a buzz of excitement in the air, everyone exchanging glances. Comic-Con was always a massive event, but this year, it felt even bigger with the reveal of Jupiter.

After wrapping up, I headed back to my trailer, peeling off the suit and changing into something more comfortable. My phone buzzed with a message from Kevin Feige, the CCO and producer of the film.

Kevin: Just wanted to give you a heads up—we'll be announcing Jupiter at the panel next week, but no other details. It's all hush-hush until the final film release.

I responded with a quick "Got it," before tossing my phone onto the couch.

The idea of Comic-Con was exciting, sure, but there was also a sense of impending chaos. Once the fans knew about Jupiter, there would be no going back. Every move, every decision, would be scrutinized. It was the nature of the industry, but I couldn't help but feel a bit of pressure as the days ticked down to the big reveal.

That evening, I met up with the rest of the cast—Brie, Chris, Natalie, Tessa, and  Sam for a quiet dinner before the storm hit. We shared stories from set, laughed about the ridiculous things that happened during filming, and tried to ignore the looming event that was now just days away.

"Here's to surviving Comic-Con," Chris said, raising his glass.

We all laughed, clinking our glasses together.

"Surviving is the key word," Brie added with a smirk.

I grinned, but deep down, I knew the real challenge wasn't surviving Comic-Con it was surviving everything else that came with it.
