MYRA'S POV

"Remember about the surprise I was talking about last night?"

My lips parted at those words. The memory of last night was fresh in my mind like it only happened an hour ago.

Siddharth's eyes were highlighted with an uncommon fear. If I could read eyes, I would read his first and at that time they said, please like the surprise.

I nodded my head, "Yeah.." It was weird, how is one supposed to act while receiving a surprise? Because, damn sure this was my first time.

Thousands of flutters tingled my belly. My fingers involuntarily clenched a fist full of fabric of my saree's pallu, elongated a little below my hips.

Siddharth moved back, the fondness in his eyes magnified with each step. Without budging his eyes away from me, He opened the curtains, throwing them to the corners of the metal rod.

It felt as if someone opened a gateway of dreams. I was left stunned with my lips slightly opened as a chill ran down my spine.

Behind those curtains wasn't a wall, I walked forward with a pounding pulse, but an extended area to the bedroom.

Fascination floated in the air, as I scanned the whole area. An almost 70 inch window with a forwarded cushioned seat ample for two people came to my vision first.

The scene looked majestic, in fact more than just majestic. It was a sight for sore eyes.
One could have the worst day but a few minutes by this window would definitely cheer their spirits up!

The moon glowed, casting some of its radiance inside through the transparent cotton curtains that softly caressed the iron railing on the outer side.

The window was decorated with fairy lights on its boundary. I let my eyes slowly wander about all the small details, taking in the breathtaking view.

A gush of air from the open window passed through my hair. I tucked the falling strands of my hair behind my ear and walked a little further to admire the sight from closer.

There were small white shelves around the window. Four on each side. Flower pots, books, a cute round mirror, and many more enduring items rested on those shelves.

I lifted my hand above, caressing a petal of white rose; They were real. "This is....."

"Beautiful?" Siddharth completed my sentence.

I saw his glimpse through the mirror; his right shoulder was leaned against the pillar, which marked the start of this 'dreamy land.'

"I know it is."

My heart skipped a beat at his hushed whisper. I still had my eyes fixated on the mirror that was fortunate enough to present the reflection of him.

Something caused his eyes to sparkle even more, or maybe it was the moon light fanning over his face? Whatever it was, it made me feel like I was in a fairytale.

My eyes darted towards the moon which suddenly seemed pale, now that I had already experienced the lustre of someone's smile and eyes.

A lump burned at the back of my throat the same way my eyes had started watering.

This was my first time recieving a surprise and I bet nothing could top this now.

The more I stared at the window admiringly, the more warmth spreaded into my body.
